"We stayed three nights at this beautiful place in Deep Creek lake and had the most wonderful time! The hosts truly thought of every need you might have, and they were very communicative and informative about the property and surrounding areas. The cabin and hot tub / grounds are immaculately maintained and kept. We barely needed to leave once but did go to enjoy a morning hike at Swallow Falls. We highly recommend this property and will hopefully be back soon!"

"This house was perfect for our family of 4 with a dog. It had plenty of space and was recently renovated and well-stocked. The desks in the bedrooms came in handy as I had to work part of the time. The lakefront area is so nice. The Drinking Water system was a huge plus for us. We have one at home and usually make trips to the store to buy water when we are on vacation. No need for bottled water if you are staying at this property. Owners were very easy to work with as I had questions...

"Our stay was superb! Our family came and really enjoyed the house. Our only complaint with the house was that it was extraordinarily hot for the lake, so the beautiful panoramic windows invited the heat and caused the AC units to work hard. "Location of this place was excellent for boating activities. The dock across the street was super close to the home and all the on water restaurants were a very short boat ride away. If you’re in Deep Creek to boat, this is the place to book. Red Barn the property managers also were great communicators ahead of our stay. We even were able to arrange late checkout to extend our trip."

"So cozy, beautiful location, really nice house. Slightly aged, but still amazing. We had trouble finding the 5th bedroom because it was above the garage, and access wasn’t marked, but it’s there! We loved the outdoor firepit, hot tub and dock on the lake."

"This was a great fit for us. My son had his friends along so they had their own “space” in the lower level, and my daughter and I had plenty of room in the upstairs bedrooms. Nice kitchen and living area where we could all be together and the “kids” enjoyed the hot tub. The location was beautiful and “woodsy”. A few spiders joined us in the house, which was sort of expected anyhow. Was nice to have the washer/dryer on site. We loved the lake and surrounding sites. Definitely go see Muddy Creek...

"Overall a great home but some things need fixing. Downstairs electric fireplace does not work so that was disappointing. Upper deck has a rotted board in the middle which is very dangerous. Furniture on deck needs replaced, chipping and peeling wood furniture was not inviting. No fire pit as advertised. Beds were nice."

"We reserved this cabin while searching for future vacations in Deep Creek. Very roomy attractive cabin among several individual cabins conveniently in McHenry. We were greeted by very friendly Jenner who gave us the checking info and directions for parking in front of the cabin. Two queen beds and modern kitchenette, bathroom and TV . Very close to grocery store, restaurants and coffee. More indoor lighting would have been welcome. "
