Beautiful place with great view
We had a great time during our stay here. We had four sets of adults, a teen and a child - 10 total.
PROS: Everyone slept comfortably and had a bathroom to themselves. The kids loved the pool tables and games in the house. The kitchen table was big so we could all eat together. we loved the view of the lake, the privacy provided by the woods, the pier, and the fire pit. All beds were comfortable. We appreciated that the property was pet friendly and the property owners were flexible with our needs. The location is also great! It’s not too far from all of the activities and things to do. The house was clean and had all the kitchen ware needed, though there were spider webs that the cleaners missed in some places.
CONS: the driveway was very steep and had a switchback, so it was tricky for us to pull our trailer in and out, but doable. The outside steps, deck and furniture were covered in leaves and acorns (typical in October). We had to do a lot of sweeping and cleaning before enjoying the outdoor areas and furniture. The boats also needed to be cleaned up before use. Beware of the pet fee. It was per pet and the same high price regardless of your length of stay. For a long weekend with two small dogs, I thought it was way too high.
Overall, we loved the cabin and enjoyed our time there! I recommend it.
