Due to a scheduling error on our part, we had the delightful opportunity to check out not just the "Skydeck ZigZag Suite" on the main floor, but also the "Crazy Wave, Cozy Digs" suite on the second. Both locations were a hoot. The location itself is a singular standout - in the midst of squeezed, cookie cutter housing is this eclectic, electric piece of art-as-architecture. The hosts were in frequent contact and immediately accessible, as was the site's manager. Keyless entry works very well (and is sincere about its time frames), the K-cups of coffee are nearly bottomless, and EVERYTHING has a label, as in, "I wonder what is ..." and the drawer is labeled. It is comfortable, it is an eyeful, the view from the top does indeed provide a Pacific peek, and if you look to the north, the airport traffic is close enough to enjoy watching at dusk, but far enough away not to be obtrusive for a good night's sleep. As is the case in this particular phase of the 21st century, you have WiFi access (quick and perky) with the presumption that you're bringing your own tablet for visual stimulation (the "Crazy Wave" floor does have a monitor for compatible systems). The showers are powerful and warmed by a water heater just feet away, and the whole experience is an inspiration for years' worth of home improvement projects on our return. We have found our perfect locus for future visits to Eureka! (say it like you mean it! Eureka!)
