John also helped with shipping my keys I had left behind at the property during checkout. Property is as shown in the photos. Kitchen is adequately equipped.Patio in the back is big and very relaxing. Great view of the lake from front porch and upstairs bedroom. Overall a great experience and host. Would love to come back."

"We were celebrating our 20 year anniversary with our children and granddaughter. It was the perfect place as it was absolutely beautiful property with beautiful trees, grass area and most of all the running creek. "Loved everything about this lodge! All the comforts of home and then some! The peaceful location was a nice reset for all of us. My daughter and I enjoyed each of the little windowed reading books and we had awesome family game nights on the screened-in back deck. The fire pit saw some s’mores on a “chilly” night as well! A family of 6 found it easy to retreat to a quiet space in the cabin. Jan is a fantastic host - always quick to respond if I had any questions."

"The local scenery is very nice. Unfortunately, the town of Greenville was destroyed by the 2021 fire and they are in the rebuilding stage. The rental unit is the downstairs half of a duplex and is neat and compact with a kitchen. The sound insulation is not great and you will hear some noise from activity above. "

"This was a great place to stay. It was clean and had really nice finishes and decor. It was stocked with all the essentials you may have forgotten. It was comfortable and felt really homey. We had a mix-up with other reservations and when we requested an extra day, the host responded quickly and worked with us so we could stay an extra day. We would definitely stay again. "
