Beautiful Mendocino Cottage
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We brought our two dogs and loved everything about the home and property. It was a quick trip for us, only there for two nights, but we’d definitely return for a longer stay. The decor is warm and inviting and everything we needed was there. Very close to town for convenience but also secluded enough to truly relax.

Peaceful stay in the redwoods
We loved our magical escape to the redwoods and the proximity to the scenic Mendocino coast. Redwood Magic is truly a dog friendly home allowing us to relax with our dogs. It was so lovely to know they were safe when we let them outside. The interior of the home is charming and perfectly appointed with all the basics you may need at a home away from home. It was also very clean! Thank you to our host, Susie.

Our stay at Susie's was Fantastic! From the moment we arrived it was clear that this was truly a dog friendly property,conveniently located to downtown, dog friendly beaches, hiking trails. Puppy amenities, spacious fenced in yard for exploring, food and water bowls, towels,local vet info.Everything was impeccably clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated, a coffee and tea bar welcomed us. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and can't wait to return!

We loved the peacefulness of the property, in the redwoods and with lovely flowers. Sitting on the deck with coffee in the mornings was so lovely. The home is very clean, comfortable and dog friendly. The location is perfect for exploring Mendocino & Fort Bragg. Susie was very responsive and all directions/instructions were clearly communicated. We plan to return in the future!

Dog lover's paradise
This house is paradise for people with dogs. The fenced yard is amazing its so quiet there easy to unwind. House is well equipped and good for cooking. House is right across on Route 1 from the village of Mendocino. The host communicates well.

Magnificent home in the Redwoods
One of the nicest, quietest, most beautiful locations and house of the scores of VRBOs that we have ever stayed in. In the middle of a giant redwood forest, yet only 3 minutes to the main business street in Mendocino. The house is immaculate and generously stocked in kitchen ware and bed and bath. Wonderfully responsive host. Can't wait to visit again.

Lovely Pet-Friendly Property
Lovely cabin surrounded by trees with a beautiful flower garden. Fully fenced property made it good for our dog. He loved exploring! Owner was responsive when needed. Home was comfortably furnished and had many amenities available.

Great 50th Anniversary Trip
We rented this place for my Parent’s 50th anniversary. They wanted to stay near us but not necessarily with us. This was perfect for them and their dog. It was peaceful, cozy, and they were thrilled to stay here for a few days! Thank You!

We love visiting this property. The surrounding trees and garden are very peaceful and the fully fenced yard is perfect for the dog. The house is very well done and comfortable and Susie is super helpful and accommodating.

Peaceful Stay
Beautiful peaceful property we spent the weekend at the Mendocino botanical gardens art in the gardens fabulous event. The guys spent Sunday BBQING for the annual famous Chicken BBQ for the Catholic Church in Fort Bragg they have volunteered for the past sixteen years and the Ladies stroll all the shops in Mendocino found great treasures. This beautiful majestic home had a very comfortable feel. Susie the manager was quick to respond and make us feel welcome. Highly recommended this home.

Beautiful Home/Beautiful Location
This was our second time staying here. The home is beautiful and everything is top notch from the furniture to the household items. It is beautifully decorated and immaculate. You are surrounded by beautiful trees. It is peaceful and quiet. The host is people and dog friendly, and she is an expert host. The place is fenced and gated and was perfect for our two dogs who got to stretch their legs out and run. We hope to return again.

Our stay at Redwood Magic was wonderful! We would absolutely stay again. The home and property are even more breathtaking in person. A little slice of redwood heaven tucked away in Mendocino. The home felt a uper cozy and has anything you may need during your stay. Susie is a great host and responded quickly. One thing to note is the lack of cell service, we have T-Mobile and our phones didn’t work until we got closer to town. No big deal as long as you have the check in info saved prior to losing service. We did not mind as the WiFi was more than powerful enough for clear calls and internet access, as well as streaming television. While we did not bring our dog it seemed like a great property for furry friends equipped with a fully fenced yard and a large stock of pet supplies. We dined at both Luna Trattoria and Patterson’s pub - both were so yummy and had awesome atmospheres. Thank you Susie for the wonderful get away!
