Extremely recommended
We highly recommend this listing if you want excellent mountain accommodations with a top notch host. We plan to make this a yearly visit for us and couldn’t imagine staying any where else. Highly recommend!!

Holiday getaway

Great view
The only issue was that we stayed in December and temperatures got below freezing. Not an issue inside and even enjoyed the firepit and hot tub, but the water to the outdoor shower had to be turned off to avoid the pipes freezing and there is no indoor shower. We were told the water would be off between 7p and 11a, weather permitting, and even though the temp got well above freezing, the shower was not on when we tried it at around 4p. This is the only reason to give it 4 stars instead of 5. Any other time of the year would not have been an issue at all. I ended up taking a shower at the course after a round of golf and my wife took a shower after a spa treatment at the local resort. Inside the house was very warm, although the floor was cold. Wasn't much of an issue when using socks or house shoes. The view of the valley during the day, the stars at night and even being in the clouds when the weather became rainy and overcast was amazing. The inside of the house is slightly smaller than it appears in the photos, but that wasn't an issue. The angle of the bed compared to the TV isn't ideal and there's really nothing there to kick up your feet while watching TV, but a piece of luggage next to one of the chairs worked out fine. There are no hangers and very little room to hang anything up anyway. Just be aware. There is an iron and small folding ironing board which we didn't use. No oven, but there is a stove, microwave, and outdoor grill. Would go again.

Grace Tea House
Overall this location and property were beautiful. Definitely five stars. Extremely relaxing and very close to the state park which is fantastic for hiking. The only note would be that the wood decking is extremely prone to splintering. The owner does offer sandals and slippers to get around safely which is greatly appreciated but did get some splinters from just picking up my phone off the built in bench and kneeling to take a photo. Did not by any means diminish our stay because otherwise this is a remarkable location and romantic get away.

Great Getaway!
This place is the perfect retreat for peace and quiet! The location is close to hiking trails and restaurants at the McLemore golf course. Everything is exactly as the pictures in the listing, except the view which can only be appreciated in person. Coffee maker is a Nespresso maker and pods are provided in the cabinet- which was a nice treat! The place is well stocked with kitchen items, a fan, robes, and outdoor shoes to wear to the shower. We hope to return for another visit in the future.

Anniversary/Birthday Vaca
The tiny home and view exceeded our expectations. The view was like no other…when there were clouds, we literally felt like we were in heaven, when the clouds lifted and saw the beautiful green valley below absolutely spectacular! The Asian decor was so Zen along with the labyrinth box and fountain idea, loved the sentiment of that as well.

Above the clouds
Surprised my wife with a 4th of July getaway. The pictures of the property didnt do it justice. We were able to see fireworks from 3 states, TN, Ga,and Alabama. We seen the most beautiful sunset and to top it all off we seen a meteor go right over us. When you're looking down on the fireworks and it seems you're able to touch the stars. We definitely plan on returning to this property if available. My wife said she'd never seen anything so beautiful.

Amazing views
Perfect location for our anniversary getaway. Very peaceful and the view was fabulous. We brought food with us since it’s pretty remote but that’s what made it so peaceful. We also enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor shower.

If you are wanting to "unplug" get away from it all this is a great place to do so!! Our stay was amazing, wish I would have booked it for longer. The peacefulness of it made it so cozy and comfortable. The furniture was comfortable like home away from home. Would definitely stay here again!!!

6 night stay
A really nice unique place to stay. For the size of the space 6 nights was a little rough this place is pretty small for how much deck space there is. We do highly recommend it the view is great and communication with the property manager was fast and easy when we needed something. The hot tub and the view were amazing but the hot tub was a little gunky when we got there there seemed to be mold around the cup holders and the walk to the shower to rinse off is really really cold in the fall/ winter. Being right below the cliff drop off means lots and lots of wind so be prepared for that. Bring your own house slippers to walk on the deck and for inside that tile floor is beautiful but absolutely freezing. When we got there the shower wasn’t working but someone immediately came out to fix that which was nice, all in all a good stay we just wish there was some sort of indoor shower / tub and a bigger bed.

Japanese tea house on the cliff side
As soon as you enter into the property you’re met with the most spectacular view. The tea house is literally on the side of a cliff so you get a panoramic view of the mountains and sky. As you descend the metal staircase you see the most adorable and well curated Japanese tea house. The hot tub was just the cherry on top! I kept telling myself, “what a view!” It’s truly unlike any other place I have stayed. We are hoping to return this upcoming summer but even in the dead of winter I was pleased!

Sleeping Amongst the Clouds
Wonderfully cute cabin! Comfy bed, every need provided for, including slippers and "privacy towel". Warm fuzzy blanket. Bathrobes for the outside shower which was surprisingly comfortable. Wonderful cabin! Wonderful hosts! Wonderful view potential! However, we were there while slight rain was expected for the first day of our stay. No problem. Rain is fine. But the clouds never cleared for 2 days. The Smokies did their thing and smoked us out. Our spectacular view for nearly all of our stay was a wall of white. When the clouds DID part, we stopped everything to enjoy the view. The radar showed no clouds in the area. To be fair, when we went home later and crossed Mounteagle, there was dense and unusual fog coming down Monteagle. We pass through there several times a month and had NEVER seen fog on that road. So maybe we just caught the extremely rare and unlucky fog bank. It is certainly not the fault of the property owners that we got stuck in a white out. I would highly recommend this cabin for a summer

What an amazing place this is. The view was amazing, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The most beautiful getaway for my wife and I. We enjoyed ourselves for the 4 nights we stayed at the Tea House and would recommend it to anyone looking for an escape! If we could give it a higher rating we certainly would!

The perfect couple's getaway!!
We loved our stay!! Picturesque sun rises and sunsets that just took your breath away!
