Perfect place near Mentone
We loved everything about this place. Nice creek to walk down to. The pond was fun, don't expect anything big. But fun to sight fish for small bass. A lot of flowering shrubs. House was in great shape. Clean. Hot tub was nice to sit in. Mentone 10 minutes away. As close as you want to be.

Great place for a Girls Trip
We had 4 women in our group and we all loved the cabin. Very private and had everything we needed. The owner was very easy to deal with and was great to communicate with. We will definitely be back.

Great "nest" in the woods!
The house was perfect for our vacation. It was clean and well stocked. It was really cold outside and the hot tub was amazing! We built a fire in the fire ring and roasted hot dogs and made s'mores. I didn't make it down to the creek but my son and granddaughter did and they loved it. It couldn't have been any better. We loved the location too.

Perfect getaway!!
My husband and I were looking for a quick last minute weekend getaway, and we hit the jackpot! If you are looking for somewhere that is secluded without the crowds, I highly recommend this place. As advertised, we did not have cell phone signal but the wifi worked very well for us and we were able to stay in contact with family when needed. This offered me great peace of mind because we could check in with our children often, and we were able to relax and enjoy a stress free weekend together. I hope we are able to come back again!

Best rental Ever
My wife and I have rented cabins in the mountains of North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama for years. This is best cabin we have experienced since we started "cabining ". It truly felt like home. We highly recommend these accommodations. And don't forget the fishing pole.

The property was just as listed and came w/ everything one would need to feel at home. The scenery/woods was a nice hidaway from the busy everyday life. The pond is secluded and nice for sunrises/sets and fishing. Tons of turtles 🐢 Could not have aaked for more and we thoroughly enjoyed.

Amazing Weekend
Me and my boyfriend came to Hawks Nest to celebrate my birthday and Fathers Day. The pics on the website does not do this gem any justice! The place was spotless and very well stocked. I brought so many spices, utensils, towels etc thinking we would need them and didnt need any of them. The peace and quiet we got this weekend was something we hadn't had in forever living in Atlanta. It was absolutely amazing. We made good use of the hot tub and the grill. Oh and of course we had our daily visits from Yoki the pup. If I had to say one negative thing,(Michelle still had no control over) While cooking on the grill I got ate up by mosquitoes. :) All in all it was amazing. We will definiately be back!
