The house is beautiful. You have an excellent staff who can and cleaned mid week and groomed the landscaping by the pool and cleaned the pool. My daughter in law sprained her ankle and she was in the house when the cleaning crew came. She was very impressed. We had no issues. We loved Merida. My daughter in laws family is from San Luis Potosí and she is continuing on visiting with family. Our grandsons loved the pool! Everyday.

Fantastic home for a lovely family time

We loved the house and the location close to Centro. Everything was very clean and in great condition. Very comfortable beds, 4 bathrooms which is fantastic with teenagers. We loved coming home to the pool after a day of exploring. There’s so many trips to take from Merida that are about an hour away, cenotes and mayan sites. Our stay felt luxurious and we highly recommend it.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in Merida

Wir waren eine 7-köpfige Gruppe (2 Familien) und haben die Zeit in Merida sehr genossen. Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr zentral, aber ruhig. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank!

Nice place in central Mérida

The apartment was more or less as listed. It was about a 20 minute walk to the main square. The pool was somewhat cloudy, so we didn’t make use of it. Also, the place is kind of divided into two halves; on one side of the pool there are two bedrooms, with the rest of the property on the other side of the pool. The pool is outdoors. On the side with two bedrooms, the upstairs bedroom requires climbing a steep and narrow spiral staircase outdoors, so that was a bit of a “surprise.” Communication with the property management was easy and very friendly. The apartment was clean and well equipped. There is a wonderful cafe around the corner called cafe Lavé.

Excellent Family Vacation

Warm, Welcoming, Wonderful

Casa Skylarkin is an architectural jewel with splendid decor and comfortable beds. The casa is well-supplied, and concierge team, Burro y Flauta, respond immediately to all questions and concerns, from site-seeing arrangements to fresh water supply. Merida itself is a wonder, with glorious art and superb food. Fabulous, fabulous people and accommodations.

Outstanding in every way!

It is impossible for me to put into words exactly how exceptional Casa Skylarkin and the Burro y Flauta team are. Skylarkin is exactly as described. It truly is a beautiful and peaceful sanctuary. My grandchildren, my daughter and I could not have loved it more! And now to the team. Beto, Yaatza and Becca were beyond caring, responsive and helpful during our stay. I cannot overstate what a difference they made to our visit. And the cleaning team is amazing in their ability to make everything shine! I promise you will consider yourself beyond fortunate if you stay here!

Christmas in Merida!

We loved our stay in this little refuge in the heart of Merida. It was the perfect escape from the many activities we did. Thanks for a very comfortable stay. It is a gorgeous property. Also, the hosts provide excellent communication.

At home in Casa Skylarkin

The property was lovely. It was the perfect launchpad to explore Merida. The landscaping is enchanting. I was captivated by the bougainvillea in the courtyard. The lighting situation in the home was soft and welcoming. The hosts were so responsive that I had a hard time keeping up. I would recommend this property to anyone (English speakers don't be shy!) Beautiful

This rental is just beautiful. Thank god for the pool and air conditioning as the humidity was horrible. Just a few blocks to several convenience stores. Very clean with so many services including grocery purchase/delivery service. Beds a little hard for my liking but not bad. Stove is tricky and needs pilot lot for use…including stove. Would happily stay again.

Best rental in Merida

I loved this place! Such a large home with all the needed amenities. Good a/c, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, bathrooms, large closets, good WiFi. Plus the patio view was a pleasure to wake up to every morning to drink our morning coffee and make breakfast. I appreciate the pick and play and high chair for my 1-year-old, who loved the home as well. I’d love to stay again when I return to Merida.

Excellent Property

Excellent property! Clean, well maintained, A/C in common areas. 2 bedrooms on the main level in the main house- 1 king size bed-the other is a full . Behind the pool, there’s a separate house with 1 bedroom on ground level-full size bed-one bedroom accessible by spiral stair case-full size bed. All 4 bedrooms have an attached bath. No common bath. Home is BEAUTIFULLY decorated.

Casa Skylarkin was excellent

Really beautiful property, a complete escape from the busy streets of Merida. All the appliances and amenities worked perfectly and the location was good. The service by Beto and his team was wonderful. Whenever we needed any information or had a request they responded to our whatsapp request in a timely manner. Will definitely stay with this company again next time we come to Merida.

Stay at Casa Skylarkin!

Not only is the property a great place to stay, the Burro y Flautas team is just downright excellent. They sent over a handy guidebook which takes out all the work of figuring out how to plan your time while on the trip and helped us coordinate a one day excursion out to see the ruins and cenotes with a trusted driver. The property is a 20 min walk from the centro and in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Each of the four bedrooms has its own bathroom and A/C, and each feel very private. The fourth bedroom is up a spiral staircase in case you have someone with mobility concerns. The pool of course was a perfect way to cool off and they send a team to clean it twice a week. If we had any questions during our stay, the team was easy to contact and quick to respond. And they speak English if you need it. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, funky unit

We loved our stay in Merida. Great info was provided about local sights and restaurants. Easy parking around the unit. Well appointed unit and spaces. Fans and A/C worked well in the heat. Walking to the center would have been possible, but we did have an 80 year old guest with us, so we drove most of the time.

We highly recommend this home!

Our one month stay at Casa Skylarkin exceeded our expectations. The staff was personable, dependable and very efficient. The pictures of the home do not do it justice with its majestic tall ceilings and thoughtful décor. The beds are comfortable and it is very quiet. There is a nice coffee place and another great breakfast and sandwich place 1 block away. The restaurant zone begins after a 15-minute walk. The closest Supermarket is 30-minute walk away and the Local Market,15-minutes. An Uber will take you for more upscale shopping: Walmart, Costco, and our favourite, Select Chedraui. Within a 5-minute walk there are several bus depots where buses will take you to many nearby destinations like Chichen Itza and Progresso beach. Beto the manager, also connected us with a driver that took us to other great destinations. I must add the streets of Merida are very safe! My only complaints are: the cookware in the kitchen is VERY tired and there was no Cable. The TV in the main bedroom is not SMART making it useless. The TV in the living room was SMART with the one option to watch Youtube, but the speaker had an annoying crackle if the volume was set any higher than ¼ (though I am sure if I had complained they would have fixed this!). Beautiful

We loved this property. We were a group of 4 single older women exploring Merida and the surrounding area for a week. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable to spend time in. We loved that we each had our own bedroom and bathroom and that there was a wonderful kitchen and seating area for us to gather. We were able to walk to the market, the Plaza Grande and all around the historic center. Any questions we had were answered promptly by Beto on WhatsApp. We’d highly recommend this property.
