" We found the Victory Inn at Mersea to be very comfortable and the service was brilliant. Staff were especially helpful and the position was great for my 6 year old grandson as he spent lots of time in the play area and we could keep our eye on him. We will definitely be booking again for sometime in the summer for a longer stay."

"We loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasn’t open and some work was happening but you can tell it’s going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round ."

"It was my first stay at The Chudleigh, the outside of the building is beautiful, inside, the areas are clean and tidy, the owner and all the staff are very welcoming, extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with a very comfy bed, nice furniture and the hotel provided lovely little extras. The breakfast room was lovely and the food absolutely delicious.
