Great food, friendly staff, very clean room & bathroom facilities. Was happily surprised by the kitchenette / common room area, which I haven't come across in many pub accommodation stays. However, if you want a good night's sleep, don't cheap-out as I did and get the single room. The bed was too short (and I'm not particularly tall), it was loose and squeaky and made a lot of noise every time I rolled, but worst of all, the single room is directly above the kitchen's fridges (or something). Quite frequently, a motor would kick in and cause the pane of glass in my window to vibrate.
I think if I'd have been in any other room I'd have loved my stay at the Blue Pub. So do yourself a favour and get one of the double rooms, which are up the other end of the building away from the fridges (or whatever was making the noise).
