The apartment is really nice. The pictures make it look bigger than it actually is, but it was spacious enough to fit all 6 ladies. I also wasn't happy with the way in which the apartment was cleaned. There was a used paper towel in the bathroom cabinet, hinges that were broken in kitchen cabinet and spotty surfaces. For the cost of cleaning price, you'd think the place would be spotless.
I tried to reach out to host prior to my trip but didn't get a response until I approached her/him again closer to the day of the trip. I feel like as a host, there are questions to be answered to ease one's travel. Eventually, they were responsive and honored our last minute changes to add one more person.
I recommend anyone to be prepared to spend $. As if the cost wasn't pricey enough, you also have daily amenities to pay and parking. Amenities were okay but they still try to charge you extra for the duvets on 6th floor pool and extra beach chairs. Each can run you an easy $80-$100 with tip for valet. If you can avoid getting a rental car, you should just take ubers.
I can say that $89 damage waiver came in handy as I actually broke 2 glasses so that was covered, but these glasses are super fragile and not really worth $89.
The location is okay depending on what your interests are. I can say the staff that works for the complex is AMAZING! These young men really made us feel like we owned the place and took care of us ladies, which in turn we took care of them with tips. Definitely see if you can get groceries delivered to the place so you can cut your time being spent food shopping.
I would stay here again only out of convenience since the beach is right there. I'm pretty sure there are nice places to stay for cheaper though.
I hope this review can help others plan their stay strategically if they decide to stay in this complex. I highly recommend staff so a better job in cleanliness considering the amount being charged. You can't call it luxury if it feels grimey.
