"We spent 6 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. The apt is older but was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Beds were very comfortable. We loved having a large living room and dining room to spend time with family. The host was great with communication. Location was perfect- walking distance to downtown and short drive to Lake George. We will definitely stay here again. "

"everything was as advertised. check-in was a breeze and the owner promptly attended to any request we had. the house location is near to downtown and the Saratoga Race Course both of which were important to our party of 14 adults and 6 young children. even with the large party there was never a feeling of being in each others way. i would not hesitate to return."

"Very comfortable, top floor, modern apartment with plenty of space for four of us in heritage home. The home retains its original, creaky stairs (3 flights up), but the apartment itself has been nicely updated with a good kitchen and nice, large deck. Pretty, quiet neighborhood of beautiful homes and a very easy, short walk to the Saratoga racetrack and downtown. Would stay again but bring own supplies. The exposed brick walls and decor made the space comfortable as a hang out and was in a great location - right downtown and walkable to amazing restaurants. The host was not as responsive as I'm used to but did provide check-in instructions when asked and allowed a late check-out. "The first thing we noticed on entering the cottage was that it was immaculate. The bedrooms were comfortable & supplied with ample bedding & towels. The kitchen is modern with new appliances & plenty of cooking, cutlery, dishes, glasses @ mugs. Easy WIFI connections. We had a fire alarm snafu which the host addressed promptly. We were very satisfied with this property. "

"My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Saratoga for my birthday, expecting to enjoy the scenery and participate in local activities. Unfortunately, our experience fell short in multiple ways. Misleading Amenities & Poor Service The hotel’s website states: "The Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Casino, and Saratoga Race Course are just over one mile from our hotel along US-9. It's two miles to Skidmore College. Many dining options can be found in a half-mile radius, and we serve cooked-to-order breakfast and dinner daily in our Garden Grille & Bar. Enjoy our free WiFi." Additionally, Expedia lists the hotel as having a rooftop garden and daily housekeeping. However, the hotel itself informed us that housekeeping is only provided every other day, contradicting the listing. Front Desk & Lack of Local Information Upon arrival, the front desk staff was standoffish and did not provide any information about local events. We later discovered from locals that there was a winter festival and a dance festival happening nearby—something that should have been mentioned to guests. False Advertising of Amenities The listing also advertised an indoor pool and outdoor fire pits, neither of which were usable. The pool had been permanently filled in with cement, with plans to turn the space into an arcade. The fire pits and garden patio area were completely neglected, buried under a foot of snow, making it nearly impossible to walk around."
