It was an ok place to stay for working away. Cheap with early breakfast timings, the breakfast buffet was really nice and the curry I had on an evening was great.
Several things really let things down, I had to stay in several rooms over the course of 6 nights as one had a broken shower tray, one had a childs toilet seat fitted to a regular toilet which meant I couldn't sit down on it and the other had no TV signal at all. They all had grubby shower cubicles with black mold all over the grout and shower heads and one released a drain smell when you used the shower. The carpark has several abandonded cars with flat tyres in it.
I was constantly asked to leave reviews at evening meal and breakfast which was very annoying as I was trying to eat, the staff would bring over the 'tap to review' slate and stand there waiting whilst I was just wanting to eat and mind my own business. I said I would do it when I checked out but was still asked at breakfast all the time.
The final night 2 members of staff started emptying wheelie bins into a larger metal bin at 02:45am and made a huge amount of noise. Smashing glass, banging and loud talking/laughing; completely unacceptable.
It wasn't bad for what I needed it for which is a place to sleep, wash and eat in the morning, definately a hotel suited to tradesmen working away.
