"Carla's cabin is an oasis of peace and relaxation. It is tucked into the woods and up against a mountain, offering an escape from the heat wave in the valley. We spent a lot of time on the porch listening to bird song and watching the hummingbirds. As usual, the house was well-appointed, comfortable and super clean. We keep coming back because we feel so peaceful there. So many whippoorwills! And Carla is the BEST host."

"This is our fourth stay here and we love it! The seclusion, peaceful hikes, fun pool table, comfy beds and all around great place❤️❤️ We went into town of Strasburg to Dominion Doggery and had the best burgers ever! "Our family had a wonderful time at this cute little cabin. The property was beautiful and the communication throughout our stay was stellar. We fished a lot, explored the Luray caverns, fish, some more, add quality family time and just enjoy the beauty. Really all positive things to say. The only thing that took getting used to was the soft water in the house and the hot tub. It was very strange for us and we wish the fish were biting a bit more other than that. It was an amazing day. Thank you."

"Property was great when we were there, the only thing that was a bummer was I think the pool pump was back flushing in the middle of the night. I think it was on a timer At 2:30 am and ran for a long time and we had to shut the windows because of the noise of running water. Also most mornings at 6:00 the pool was being filled on a timer and the pump ran for at least 4 hours at a time, so there was not much water pressure so couldn’t take a morning shower.
