Relaxing getaway on the beautiful Delaware river
Every year my mom, aunt and I choose a place to stay for a few days to just get away. We're big on flea markets, thrift stores and of course Peddlers Village. This place was the perfect location for us to do everything we love. The view of the river was breathtaking, private and relaxing. The fireplace was wonderful to come home to after a long brisk day of shopping. Comfortable beds, hot shower, big kitchen and lots of places to relax with the view of the river from almost every window. We did notice that there was no seasonal touches to welcome you such as mums in the front entrance and the chairs overlooking the river had very warnout, used cushions. Maybe just a little more attentuon to those things. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay. Thank you so much

We love The Milford House
We love staying at The Milford House . We enjoy all the beauty the area has to offer , from winding roads , beautiful fall colors and the scenery . The Milford House is comfortable and clean with amazing views of the river. We definitely will be coming back.

Beautiful and peaceful
The house is so tranquil, peaceful, and just so homey! We were so comfortable and relaxed in every space. The back porch was our go to place to hang out. We would definitely stay here again without a doubt!

Beautiful home on the Delaware River
We stayed here for 2 nights on our way back from Boston. The home has been beautifully renovated and well stocked. It was perfect for our family. The view of the river is amazing and I highly recommend checking out the Ringing Rocks nearby.

A gem
We very much enjoyed our getaway to this gem of a place. The house is teeming with character and the location is ideal (near to many shops and restaurants). We were impressed with the cleanliness of the house, and especially enjoyed sitting out back along the lazy river, often with the company of various animals that wandered by (deer, geese, a groundhog, a heron, and various bird activity). We plan to revisit.

We love the Milford House. The house is beautiful - its clean, nicely decorated, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and great layout. The view from the back deck is amazing. We've stayed at the Milford House before and its always an enjoyable time. I highly recommend this lovely place.

This was my first time using vrbo so I wasn't quite sure how it worked. However, the host was very kind and helped me through the process and even recommended areas to visit during our stay. The home was very beautiful and well kept with stunning views of the river. I felt comfortable the entire time. I will definitely visit again!!

Wonderful holiday spent on the river
The Milford House was wonderful. Exactly as expected, possibly exceeding our expectations. Our family rented the house for Christmas and it was a charming and quaint place to stay. You can’t beat the morning coffee overlooking the river. The house had just enough space for us to sleep comfortably. The kitchen was roomy for us to cook on Christmas Eve and Day. Only minor critique would be some cleanliness. We vacuumed before we checked out and there were areas where it was very clear it was very dusty or possibly not vacuumed before our stay. We also had to wash almost every pot and pan before we used them because they were somewhat sticky and not fully cleaned. Nothing dire enough that would prohibit us from booking again but perhaps some feedback for the cleaning company. We can’t wait to stay again!

Location, location, location!
You cannot beat the location of the Milford House on the river. Even though it was cold and drizzly during our stay, we enjoyed the view and the peace. MIlford is a cute town with some great places to eat!

Great for our Girls Weekend!
We had an amazing time at the Milford House! Location was a short drive to downtown Frenchtown which had absolutely lovely cafes that we frequented for breakfast and just another short drive to downtown New Hope. We also ventured off to Peddlers Village and had the absolute best time. The property is clean and the views off the back porch are breathtaking! We can’t wait to be back :)
