"Lovely character cottage and lovely host. We didn't get any check-in instructions but our host popped out to greet us when we arrived (late) and showed us quickly around so it was no problem. Very well equipped which made for a relaxed stay."

"The kitchen facilities were good with plenty of plates and everything provided like dishwasher tablets. The host was brilliant sorting a minor alarm issue wilst we were out for the day, peace of mind that this is provided along with cctv outside the property was nice for us as anglers. The location is fantastic for Cootehill and the surrounding area with a very friendly bar/social club just short walk up the road. "The kitchen has a good range of tools and equipment. A popcorn maker was provided with a complimentary packet of popcorn to try (which we did not). Although not in the description I read, there was an air fryer provided which we did try and found useful (we do not have one at home). "Visiting family and got to see the home my grandmother grew up in! The hotel staff were warm and welcoming and our stay was comfortable. The “pool” was definitely not for relaxing. It’s an exercise club and lap swimming was intense. The sauna was awesome though! Food was excellent!"
