Great getaway in the woods!

Peaceful and pleasant

We loved our weekend stay when we were in the area for concerts at Alpine Valley. Clean, comfortable and fun, with the pool, hot tub and hiking paths on the lovely property. The plants in and around the house were inspiring. We would love to stay again if we are in the area!

Daniel is a pleasure to deal with, so accommodating and nice! The location has evreything you need to just relax and unwind. Enough activities for everyone especially the pool. Loved the fishing pond and trails to get there, it’s just so serene & relaxing especially if you getting away from the city. You will not be disappointed at all when visiting Daniel’s location.

A magical place

Loved everything about the house and property. House is definitely 70s mod, but it has charm and worked just fine for a few days trip. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The land is beautiful, so much to explore and see wildlife. It was a great escape from Chicago!

This house is all about nature. From watching the chipmunks zooming around out the floor to ceiling windows or hanging out on the patio and swimming in the pool - you will be surrounded by wildflowers and birds chirping. The kitchen is well appointed and we had everything we needed. Thank you!

Nature’s Best!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property! Since we traveled with a one-year-old, her Grandparents and parents thought it would be fun to find a place for an all-inclusive stay. We swam in the perfect sized and temperature, pool, hiked the property trails and cooked in the well-appointed kitchen. Memories were created here!

Lovely home in the forest

What a lovely gateway we had in this property. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful scenery, hundreds of birds coming to the house all day. The patio was perfect for evenings of conversations. The pool and jacuzzi were ready to use. There are small but perfect for us. We plan to come back next summer. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Amazing stay, once again

We absolutely loved our time here, for the second year in a row. This really is an absolutely fantastic property. The kids were asking, minutes after we arrived, if we were going to come back next year again! I can’t remember if I mentioned this in my previous review, but I wanted to mention it again. For anyone who is Gluten Free - there is a restaurant nearby called David Alan Alan’s and their gluten free menu items are fantastic! Truly. So good. This really is the best property we have been to in our handful of rental properties we have gone to. The owners are also very quick to respond to any questions, which is great. So, if you stay here - enjoy!!!

Awesome getaway home for us

Family of 4 who enjoy the outdoors, this place was awesome the kids swam in the heated pool, the hot tub was very nice and the hike to the ponds to fish was also great. Very relaxing and at the same time plenty to do. Communication between owner was very good and simple, gave heads up for the pool cleaning folks coming. The house was very cozy as well with plenty of room to get away from our normal days and just relax. Great place. Great owner.
