Awesome
We had an excellent time! The cabin was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay and our dogs did too. The view was beautiful and we saw multiple deer. We had a great time playing air hockey and roasting marshmallows out by the fire.

Lazy Bear Lodge exactly as advertised!
Never before have we stayed at a property that was so true to its description as Lazy Bear Lodge. Wife, me and some family there 10/23/24-10/29/24 to celebrate her birthday and see fall leaves. The views from the wrap around porch were spectacular. Inside, the bedrooms were restful, the kitchen was well supplied and fabulous and our grands loved the game room! S’mores around the fire pit was a nightly ritual. Quiet and secluded but convenient to everything Blue Ridge has to offer. 4 TVs and great WiFi allowed us to keep up with the World Series. We’ll be back.

Memorable weekend with family.
In all, we had eight adults consisting of my Immediate family and extended family. The house was beautifully appointed and cozy at the same time. It had everything we needed and more. We spent a lot of time on the wraparound porch. Loved all the games in the basement. It was so nice to have three levels where everyone could have private space. Josh was so nice to deal with and quick to respond to questions. I would definitely recommend staying here. You won’t regret it.

Amazing stay !
The cabin is located in a great location close downtown, supermarket, river, trails, and NC! At the same time you feel secluded.. Josh is an excellent host who was super quick to response since the initial booking. The cabin is fully equipped with everything that you can think of .. and everything is of high quality. Mattresses are all comfortable and home super clean. Views are amazing.. During our 5 night stayed, we enjoyed kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, and sightseeing of few waterfalls. A huge hit was the game room ! We spent hours playing the different games with our son. I would definitely stay at this cabin again! We have stayed at few other cabins in Blue Ridge area and this is one of our favorites.

Beautiful, cozy, and immaculate cabin!
We had a wonderful weekend away at the Lazy Bear Lodge! Josh, the owner was very easy to communicate with and provided all information needed prior to our stay. The cabin was easy to access without 4-wheel drive, and it was a quick 15 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge. The cabin is hands-down the cleanest cabin we have ever rented. It was very cozy with nice furniture and comfortable beds. The kitchen was immaculate and labeled with everything you could need. Our family enjoyed the game room downstairs, the hot tub and fire pit out back, and the beautiful wrap around porches. There are TVs in every room with lots of channels. For food, we highly recommend Carroll's Barbecue. For fun, our family of all ages really enjoyed playing at 2nd Story Entertainment. We hope the Lazy Bear Lodge is available for us to book when we return to Blue Ridge in the future!

So much fun!
The cabin is amazing! The views are beautiful, and the cabin is super cozy. The hosts have EVERYTHING you could need and more. We loved playing air hockey, Mrs. Pac-Man, and foosball. We made s’mores by the fire and played cornhole. We ventured out to the scenic railway and the Amicalola waterfall. We couldn’t have asked for a better time. We highly recommend this spot! We will be back for sure!!

A great family/pet house!!
We had a great week staying at the Lazy Bear Lodge! It was perfect for our three kids and dog. It was clean, had everything we needed including firewood for the fire pit. Loved how dog friendly it was. Our kids enjoyed the fire pit and the games in the basement. Highly recommend and will come back again!

Wonderful mountain getaway
We stayed at the lazy bear lodge for 4 nights over new years with our three children ages 6-11 and our dog. It was everything we hoped for!! Exactly as described. Everything was clean, comfortable beds, kitchen was fully stocked, updated appliances, basement game room was awesome with full size air hockey and foosball. There were also several board games and puzzles. Outside, we enjoyed corn hole, fire pit, and hot tub. Highly recommend this cabin! Hope to come back in the summer!

Holiday Excursion
We met friends here for the weekend. We took our kids into Blue Ridge on Saturday to ride the polar express train. The location was perfect! The kids explored in the woods. We sat by the outdoor fire pit and visited. We had an issue with the downstairs heat, but Josh was super responsive to us. He bought us portable heaters and even gave us a small refund. The kitchen is really stocked which was awesome! We would definitely go back to the cabin!

3rd Time Staying!
Our family looooves this cabin. Its cute, lots of beds, comfy living room, and interior space and the outside areas are just lovely! We sit at the fire pit all day long. This was our third year family trip and we'll be back next year! PS, the owners are super attentive and kind.

October Fall weekend
Just wanted to say thanks we had a great time! The cabin was clean and just what we needed for a quick get away. Two couples and teenage boys. Lots of activities to do outside, and in the basement for the boys. Secluded and beautiful location. Well equipped kitchen and grilling utensils and needs. Wonderful and well stocked Cabin
The cabin has many extras and the kitchen is stocked very well. The cabin is also spacious and well designed. The amenities such as fire pit, hot tub and air hockey table were very nice. We will absolutely rebook this property the next time we visit the Blue Ridge area.

Wonderful well- appointed cabin.
The cabin was great! Well furnished and clean with lots of extra entertainment. The location was good and the drive to the cabin was easily navigated. Unfortunately, our visit was cut short when the 2nd night the heater quit working when it was 11* outside due to a grid overload. The owners couldn't have been better to deal with. We hope to re-book the cabin some time in the near future.

Beautiful Cabin
This cabin is beautiful inside and out. On top of a mountain and the view is beyond words. They supply everything. My only complaint is the driveway. The pictures make it look like it is flat, not the case. Good thing we have a 4 wheel drive truck. We will be back.
