The house is beautiful. But it was clear that work was being done on the house when we checked in, which I didn't appreciate. Multiple batteries were dead, wifi barely worked, an entire room smelled overwhelmingly of paint, etc. The location/view/property itself were great.

BEST Cabin Mountain View in Blue Ridge!

Let me tell you, the views did NOT disappoint here! This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. The modern farmhouse aesthetic, the state-of-the-art appliances, and all of the interior designing of this home is just stunning. It looks exactly like the photos! Our check-in went smoothly. We were lucky to get an early check in at 2pm. We loved the gas fireplaces outside and inside. We made s’mores and hung out often on the balcony. The bugs were minimal which was nice. The beds in all the rooms are SO comfortable. We liked the different thermostats on each floor to help regulate the temperature to each persons liking. We thoroughly enjoyed the game room/ home theater where we hung out a lot as a family. It was partially carpeted which was nice for the baby, and had a full size pool table. There was a little something for everyone! The hot tub was a great size and had fun multicolor lights. They had a pack n play, high chair and baby monitor which was all very nice to have with our 7 month old!! The property is nicely secluded in its own little neighborhood at the top of a mountain. There is a final 350ft vertical climb up to the cabin, but the road is paved with grooves to help your tires grip the concrete. I would probably recommend a 4-wheel drive. However, we only had a low gear option and were still able to make it. We felt safe taking several walks around the neighborhood and it was very peaceful and serene. We will definitely be coming back to this cabin for future vacations!

Absolutely amazing stay!

All I can say is WOW! This was hands down the best short term rental experience I’ve ever had! I had stayed at their other property in Ellijay for a couple of days and I had to extend my trip last minute and when I reached out to Vivian that property was booked for my dates but she suggested me to book this one instead. I thought the other property was amazing but then I checked into Sunset Ridge. What an incredible experience!!! The property is brand new, extremely high end finishes, the furniture and decor are restoration hardware level and up. The mattresses are incredibly comfortable. The host was very responsible and available even late at night when we had questions. The house is fully stocked with everything you need and the VIEWS! Words cannot explain those views at sunset. Very quiet and peaceful but we were just 15-20 minutes from all the action in Blue Ridge. We had an incredible time and will ABSOLUTELY BE BACK SOON!

Sunset Ridge

Our family had the most memorable experience here at Sunset Ridge cabin. From the moment we walked in the incredible view took our breath away. The beautiful decor, the culinary dream kitchen, the comfortable bedding, the pool table/movie/game room and so much more made our stay even more enjoyable. Upon entering there was a basket with ingredients for s’mores and a complimentary bottle of rose’ Prosecco with a note from the owners Viv & Andri. We looked at several cabins to find the perfect one and I’m so happy we found this one. We are already looking forward to visiting again. This place is definitely special. It’s the type of cabin that after a day out exploring or going to dinner you just can’t wait to get back to. I think our time together by the fire with a glass of wine looking out at the mountains was my favorite part of each day. Everything was exquisite.
