If you enjoy staying in places that feel like a home, this is the place to be. We utilized all four bedrooms. We encourage anyone that loves a cool space to sleep to call the bedroom with the bigger bed. It was cozy and cool all night. There were plenty of pillows and blankets in each room. There was also any amenity you need including towels, soap, kitchen ware, games, fans, etc. We did not utilize the theatre room because we had so much fun conversing upstairs and playing board games. We highly encourage you to play Ticket to Ride.
The welcome binder for the house is full of useful information and Bradley was always responsive (and I asked a lot of questions) and helpful. We did enjoy the hike to Mount Jumbo Saddle Trail recommended in the binder.
A couple things to consider before you book:
- Don’t miss the description of this being a sustainable sanctuary like we did. If you are not used to sorting recyclable materials, composting, or burning trash this may be big adjustment for you. We are used to most of this practice but did struggle with the concept of no trash pickup.
- If you prefer pristine, all-matching everything (like a hotel) then this is not the place for you. We loved being at this home because it feels lived in and welcoming.
We hope to find more places like this one during our travels. We can’t say enough how comfortable it was staying at this home. Perfect for families to connect and relax.
