Peaceful Montana Ranch
The ranch was exactly as advertised. Very peaceful setting with great views and a very easy base to explore the entire Bitterroot valley. Doug and Janis are excellent hosts and the house was spotless with every amenity you could want.

Fantastic stay
We were in Stevensville for my father’s celebration of life. The Runnin’ Bear Ranch was rented for my family and my sisters rented other houses nearby. We were welcomed by a bald eagle sitting in a tree in the backyard. The house is nicely laid out with an awesome back patio. It was clean, easy instructions, well-stocked and comfortable. Really nice! Thank you for the great stay.

Bitterroot Quiet Place
Our stay at this quality home was wonderful. Owners were nice enough to let us host a small baby shower out of house for a couple of hours and it was just the perfect place for that. The home is well constructed with space and VIEWS. It was stocked with everything we needed. Even though you felt you were in the country we were six minutes from grocery, restaurants, and entertainment. Would love to come back in the summer and use the beautiful fire out!!

Highly Recommend!
This was our first time in the Bitterroot Valley. We loved the area, and the Runnin’ Bear Ranch was awesome. The place was centrally located in the valley making getting to other places only a short drive, but was also off the beaten path providing some solitude. The house was very clean and very well equipped. It was like being at home. The owners were also very accommodating. I asked if they had a coffee grinder and she said one would be on the counter when I got there, and it was. We stayed for 11 days and would like to have stayed longer. We will definitely be going back!!

Fun time!
We had a wonderful stay for our Aunt/Cousin reunion! The home was lovely and clean with every amenity we could have wanted or needed. Carl, the cat, was a favorite nightly visitor, the view from the patio was perfect for morning coffee or evening beverages, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

The pictures don't do this property justice. The decor is everything you would want in a Montana home. Very spacious, well-equipped kitchen, clean and in great shape. A Little Slice of Heaven
Our family came to Stevensville for a youth baseball tournament. The house was a mile from the complex and very conveniently located! The house was beautiful, immaculate, and had a well equipt kitchen. The deck with fire pit surrounded by green fields and the majestic Bitterroot mountains was the ideal place to start and end our day. Our hosts lived close by on the property and went out of their way to ensure our privacy, however, they came to our rescue when we needed their assistance with a personal issue. We cannot wait to visit the home again during baseball season next year.

Great location close to town but isolated
This is an amazing property located on a working cattle ranch and with beautiful views but just minutes to downtown Stevensville Hosts are very accommodating and flexible and the house itself is very clean and very comfortable Kitchen well appointed and set up for any cooking project (we did our Thanksgiving here)
