Let me begin by saying this is an adorable place in a fantastic location. It's light and bright, comfortable, and close to downtown, the University of Montana, and the river trail. I would absolutely stay here again. Normally it would deserve a high five star rating. But there were some concerns during our stay.
We discovered a random sock in the bedroom that belonged to neither my wife nor I. The wine opener still had a cork in it, and both those issues led us to question the cleanliness of the remainder of the home (it certainly appeared clean and well-kept, however).
The home did not provide coffee mugs, which we found odd and which required us to purchase our own for use.
The home has a dedicated parking spot off the alley, which is terrific. However it is a soft dirt area, and rains on the day of our arrival turned it into an absolute mud bog. During our trips to and from the vehicle to unload, our shoes sunk an inch down and became caked in mud. The home didn't have an inside rug near the door, so we ended up tracking mud everywhere, which required us to use the provided bath towels to clean the floors and our shoes.
The home doesn't provide a place to hang or iron clothes, so if you are in town for an event requiring dress attire, it may be a challenge.
Finally, I found the approval process with the property management company a little more cumbersome than any other VRBO booking.
Again, even with these issues, I would rent the place again on future stay in Missoula.
