I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews, but unfortunately, this experience deserves one.
Upon first glance, the house is very cute and appears clean. After walking on the floors, however, it was clear they really were not clean at all. After walking around barefoot, we had feet so dirty they were nearly black. I had let my baby crawl around on the floor, and the tops of her feet were filthy.
There are also MANY pieces of flooring (LVP) that have come loose and are either dislodged, broken, or "fixed" by being nailed down with finishing nails.
During our stay, we saw several bugs which isn't unheard of in Alabama, but lead us to suspect that the house wasn't sprayed for bugs. We saw spiders, roaches, a palmetto bug, and a few smaller bugs in with the "clean" dishes (which were definitely not all clean).
We also experienced some broken furniture, lack of comfortable sitting space (living room seats 4 when house sleeps 10+), and missing kitchen items.
There were signs with a phone number for the property manager that said to call or text them. I tried texting multiple times, but didn't receive a reply. When I tried calling early or later in the day the phone rang for 5+ mins w/ no answer. When I finally talked to someone they were helpful but required I reach out for updates instead of keeping me informed on the fixing of a major ceiling leak that occurred during our stay.
I couldn't recommend this house, but hope they address these concerns so others can enjoy it!
