"A beautiful house in the mountains. The view is so stunning that no picture can do justice to it. It’s in the mountains, quiet, authentic and peaceful, yet close to Lucca, 10 minutes to the closest supermarket. Great gardens around the house, which are very well maintained. We were extremely well taken cared of By the owner Massimo. He was very kind and attentive. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We hade more than everything we needed. "We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

"We spent two wonderful weeks in Tuscany. Nothing is missing in the lovingly renovated house. The landlady is very nice and helpful. Even when we got stuck with the car she had a solution. Thank you. We had a good rest even though the weather was rather changeable in the second half of the holiday. We can highly recommend the accommodation"

"Die Wohnung ist typisch toskanisch eingerichtet. Sämtliche Fotos sind ziemlich genau getroffen. Die Lage der Wohnung auf dem Gelände nahezu perfekt. Direkt am Pool - durch die tiefere Lage des Pools dennoch sehr ruhig. Man hat von der Terrasse und der Küche einen wunderbaren Blick über Lucca. Das Gelände an sich ist durch die Lage am Berg aber nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Was unserem 10-tägigen Aufenthalt dort aber überhaupt keinen Abbruch tat. "The house was just what we were looking for, an oasis of tranquility. It is as it appears in the photos. Beautiful views and perfectly equipped house. Our dog was happy among the olive trees. Highlight how absolutely clean the house was. We did many excursions, we spent time in Luca all within short distance of the house. With car everything is at hand. Massimo very friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure!"

"We where two families in total of 10 people. The villa has a remarkable view and pool area with outdoor kitchen. A table big enough for all of us to sit next to the poolarea and eat breakfast/dinner. The way up to Olive Tree Suites was a bit tricky with narrow turns. I would recommend to arrive if possible when its light outside. At least the first time. We had a great vacation. "

"We had a wonderful week with our family. Giovanni is a very friendly and helpful host. The house is surrounded by so much beautiful nature. Having breakfast on the terrace with a stunning view over the Tuscan hills is like paradise. Still on walking distance you can find a bakery for a morning coffee, a pizzeria and other shops and it is only 10 minutes driving to Lucca center. The garden is enormous with endless possibilities both sun and shadow. If it gets too hot the swimming pool helps you...

"The quiet setting of this old farmhouse provided a calm retreat from the hectic days of sightseeing. Giacomo was a gracious host, meeting us when we arrived, giving us numerous helpful tips about sightseeing and restaurants, things to do and places to see. The spacious bedrooms of the house and views of the countryside are beautiful. There are stairs to negotiate, and having a vehicle is helpful. "
