Tuscan rural idyll
Fabulous location. Magnificent views with only birdsong to hear. Accommodation spotlessly clean, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Infinity pool a wonderful bonus with quality loungers to relax after a day of sightseeing. Situated ideally to visit Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, Lucca - and our new favourite place - Volterra. Host Frederica is charming and extremely helpful - booking restaurants and recommending places to visit. Would recommend this accommodation and we would return in the future.

Wunderschöne Herbsttage

Amazing place to relax!
The house is cosy and equipment with all you need for a longer stay. We enjoyed the pool area with a fantastic view on the hills of the Tuscany! The location is great for day trips to Florence, Pisa San Gimengagno and other lovely cities. Federica is a warm and very friendly host, always there when need her! Clear recommendation!

Great villa with an amazing pool
We stayed in July 2023. The property was clean and Federica was very communicative and helpful both before and during our stay. The villa is a good size for 2 adults, with good views across the Tuscan countryside. The infinity pool is the star - it’s 13x5m and 2.5m deep at the deep end, with great views. Fantastic for cooling down but also for a proper swim to burn off (some of) the calories in all the wine/pasta/pizza/ice cream! And it’s completely silent except for the birds and insects. The location is great for visiting the local towns. We visited Lucca, Volterra, Florence, Siena and San Gimignano from here - the furthest being Siena at just over an hour’s drive. Access is up a series of tracks lasting about 2km in total. We were fine in a normal VW Golf, but don’t bring a sports car!

Amazing holiday
We had a great stay at Federica’s house. The house is located on a hill in the middle of Tuscany, with amazing views of the surrounding valleys. The house and garden is well maintained and has an amazing private infinity pool. The host Federica lives on the same property but in a different house, and respects your privacy so it feels as if you have the entire place for yourself. She is also very helpful would you need any recommendations for the surrounding area. We did not have the best weather, but there was still a lot to do given that the house is conveniently located close to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena and San Gimignano.

Wonderful Property and Tuscany Experience
We can't say enough about this wonderful property. Literally one in a million and we only stumbled upon it because we had stayed at another property in Switzerland who had recommended it. Federica the owner is both the nicest person and vacation host you'll find. Very obvious from the minute you arrive that she takes great pride in this beautiful villa and will go out of her way to make your stay perfect in every way. As for the villa itself, her photos online don't come close to describing this beautiful property. You have to experience it in person to fully understand how nice it is. The villa itself had everything we could need and her pool area is so relaxing that could easy spend your entire stay on the property and never leave! Yes, it's that nice. Location wise, we picked up our rental car at the Florence Airport after arriving by train and then made the easy drive to the villa in around 45 minutes. Using Google maps and Federica's instructions, we had no problem in finding it. Shopping and dining wise, we had no issues with either grocery shopping or finding wonderful restaurants in the area. During our week stay we cooked dinner at the villa twice and ate out the other nights in nearby restaurants. We've only been home one day but we're already planning to return once we figured out our dates for next year. Looking forward to our return and can't thank Federica enough for having us. A wonderful visit to Tuscany
We had a lovely two weeks staying in Federica's villa. It is very nicely situated within an hour's drive of Florence, Sienna, Lucca and Pisa. Also there are some nice hill towns much closer for shorter visits. As we were there for 2 weeks it was nice to alternate days going to places with days staying by the glorious pool (which is even nicer than the photos..!) Federica was great at suggesting places to eat and we tried some of them as well as having three barbeques on the great built-in charcoal barbecue. We can whole heartedly recommend booking this villa and we would love to return again one day.

idyllic rural retreat
Federica is a lovely person and her studio/retreat a real treat. It's really tucked away up a long gravel road, high up with great views. Essentially one big room (Federica's artist studio is upstairs) it is beautifully designed with everything you might need. The swimming pool is heavenly.

Relaxing holiday in idyllic setting
We have just returned from two wonderful weeks in this lovely property which has stunning views and a fantastic, well-maintained pool, vital for cooling down in the high temperatures we experienced. Federica was a generous and friendly host, allowing us privacy but also on hand to give us advice, book restaurants and even print off opera tickets for us. The property is incredibly well situated for sightseeing in Florence, Lucca, San Gimignano and more but, to be honest, we had very little desire to leave the property due to its idyllic setting and excellent facilities. We would highly recommend.

Relaxing Days

5 Sterne Urlaub
Klasse Urlaub in traumhafter Umgebung. Wer Ruhe und Einsamkeit sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das Häuschen mit Inifinitypool liegt eingebettet in einem Olivenhain. Federica ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Traumhafter Ausblick
Es waren herrliche 3 Wochen vor Ort. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet! Das Bett sehr bequem. Frederica ist immer vor Ort und steht immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Sie wohnt direkt oberhalb. Vielen Dank, liebe Frederica

Schönes Haus mit viel Platz und Aussicht
Wenn man das etwas versteckt liegende Anwesen über eine Schotterstraße erreicht hat, wird man mit einem herrlichen Ausblick in die toskanische Landschaft belohnt. Auf dem großzügigen Grundstück mit vielen Olivenbäumen befindet sich das Mietshaus und das Haus der Vermieterin Federica. Das Mietshaus aus außen unverputzten Backsteinen ist eine tolle, moderne Herberge. Bzgl. der Ausstattung mangelt es an nichts, wir haben insb. gerne den Grill genutzt und uns gefreut, dass eine Geschirrspülmaschine vorhanden ist. Der Pool ist wirklich so schön wie auf den Bildern! Federica ist eine sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeberin. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen, grazie mille!!

Traumhaft gelegenes, perfektes Landhaus
Sehr schönes, perfekt ausgestattetes Haus. Den Gästen steht ein wunderschöner, privater Infinitypool zur Verfügung. Zudem eignet sich die Lage sehr gut für Ausflüge zu allen bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toskana. Abgerundet wird dies durch eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert *****

Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub in einer traumhaften Lage!
Wir waren 2 Wochen in dem wunderschönen Haus von Federica. Das Haus, die Lage ,die Aussicht... Es war in jeder Hinsicht ein traumhafter Urlaub. Es hat uns an nichts gefehtl und alles was in der Beschreibung steht, stimmt zu 100%. Der Pool ist ein Traum. Federica ist eine tolle Frau und wir konnten, wenn wir mal etwas wissen wollten, immer in Kontakt mit ihr treten. Wir können dieses Haus jedem empfelen, der einen ruhigen Urlaub machen möchte. Wenn wir noch einmal Urlaub in der Toskana machen, dann bei Federica! Danke für so einen schönen Ort!
