CHECK IN PROCESS:
Room wasn’t ready on time. Staff said they would call my phone when it was ready.
They did not call and Marion, the manager, made excuses as to why they weren’t ready instead of accepting that this was a rough check in
Many others had this issue; be prepared for this!
FOOD:
Reservation restaurants were good–nice presentation and food was tasty and cooked well.
The cafe had great lattes, ice cream, key lime pie, cookies
Pool grill had great lunch food, especially the snapper sandwich on coco bread.
Important to note: we made our reservations before we arrived, but the reservations were completed incorrectly.
ROOMS:
Ocean front room was huge and amazing!
Mini King rooms were adequate–much smaller and darker with no view and the street noise could be a bit much.
HOTEL STATUS:
After we booked this as adults only, the hotel changed to family friendly
There were obnoxious children running and yelling in restaurants, throwing cups of sand in the pool, and urinating in the pool–NOT PLEASANT!
We weren’t notified of this change–NOT ACCEPTABLE!
POOL:
Cloudy with a film on it; didn’t seem clean
TOWEL SERVICE:
Could only get 1 towel with a towel card
Strange stains on towels
Towels were very thick and felt soggy all day long–never dried
STAFF:
Most staff were outstanding and super attentive
Special shout outs to the main manager and concierge
Front desk was NOT helpful
BEACH:
Not allowed to use floats at beach even though that wasn’t listed anywhere in the rules.
