The house itself was so charming and well stocked, the grounds beautiful and well maintained, and the pool and welcome retreat each day after exploring the surrounding towns. "Nice house and a fantastic garden. Cortona is a great place. The house wasn't very clean and the Air-Con is available but doesn't really cool the bed rooms upstairs on hot summer days. It's too expensive for what it is."

"This property is everything we wanted a Tuscan villa to be. We were 5 couples celebrating our 60th birthdays. We all had private bedrooms with private bathrooms. The location is perfection. We could walk to the historic town of Cortona in under 25 minutes, but our property was completely private with a view that was spectacular. In the morning the birds and church bells are your music and the flowers and fruit trees are in abundance."

They bogg live on siteNonna was attentive but not intrusive, and always left us tomatoes and basil from her garden, but spoke no english - more of a comment about us than her as it would have been great to talk to her more fully. "We had a fantastic week in this lovely villa. It really does have everything you could possibly need - a real home from home. Lots of lovely spaces inside and out to enjoy. We loved sitting out in the evenings having dinner and we’re lucky to be there during the Perseus meteor shower and saw lots of shooting stars in the clear skys. "Wat een heerlijk, ruim en fijn ingericht huis is dit, met een fantastisch zwembad. We hebben heel veel gezien van de wijde omgeving, en het terugkeren naar dit vakantiehuis was elke keer een thuiskomen. Super dat er voor alle ramen horren zitten, buiten hadden we veel last van stekende insekten, maar binnen helemaal niet. Fijn dat er op de slaapkamers grote ventilatoren staan, het was een week lang ruim 35 graden buiten. De grote keuken is super en alles is heel schoon, dankzij de goede zorgen...

"We had a lovely holiday at Villa Rasenna. Louise is a great host and was very helpful and replied very quickly to any queries. The kitchen is well equipped and the sitting area comfortable and homely. We made good use of the pool. We enjoyed a great meal in the villa cooked by Elena and a local wine tasting and pizza in the village. There are lovely walks from the villa in the local countryside. Would definitely recommend a holiday and we would love to return. Thanks Louise."
