Paradise
Beautiful property with magnificent water views ... Lovely older home with mature old plantings ! Great for dogs , wonderful walks ! I could move right in ! We loved the screen porch. It rained some and we stayed on the porch and read and listened to the rain and ate all our meals out there. Loved the sound of the screen door SLAP reminded me of my childhood. WE just LOVED Stradford Hall too !

Peaceful easy feelings
Beautiful views from every window and the peace and quiet was so refreshing. Charming house! The screened in porch was one of our favorite spots to relax. Very comfortable furniture and lots of space to spread out in! Definitely recommend!

Historic home with fantastic property!
We truly enjoyed our week-long stay! A lovely historic home with everything, plus more, that anyone would need. The property and view are an 11 out of 10! The home was stocked with more incidentals (from soap to ziplock bags and everything in-between) than any other VRBO rental that we have experienced. Joe was a professional host and answered inquiries promptly. We highly recommend this rental! You will love your time spent at this special location!

Hidden gem in the Northern Neck
The property is uniquely sited to catch the sunrise over the sound each morning. Lots of yard for our dog to run around and she loved taking a swim at the boat ramp. We made use of the screened-in area to have lunch each day. We made use of the binoculars to observe osprey, herons, and the occasional Bald eagle. Montross has limited but great restaurants. We had a nice relaxing time.

Great Family Gathering
Beautiful location and views, lovely landscape and very peaceful. Sunrises were amazing! Plenty of space for our family of 7. Nothing lacking in the kitchen, plenty of dishes and everything we needed for meal prep. Great communication with host, very attentive to our questions. Great meal at Angelo's in Montross. Will definitely return if schedule permits.

Beautiful and serene, perfect vacation getaway.
The property is large and the area around the home is beautifully landscaped. The home is well stocked with most everything that we needed. The dining room and living room are generous with unobstructed views of the Potomac. We spent a lot of time in those two rooms. There is a private boat dock that is very nice, well maintained and sturdy. We were there in the winter so we didn’t use it, but we fished right next to it. Owner was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. A lovely vacation home!

Fantastic weekend
We loved our stay at Currioman Landing. The location was breathtaking and the house was charming. I have never seen a rental as well stocked as this one was. There were way more kitchen items, toiletry products, and cleaning items than I have at home I think. We had six adults on their phones and tablets, and the internet connection worked very well. My only suggestion is the house could use a bigger tv. I think it was the most peaceful place I have ever stayed.

Never Disappoints
Our whole family loves staying here. This is a repeat place for us and before we left this time we were already talking about future visits. It’s so incredibly beautiful and peaceful, and offers lots of opportunity for our kids, as well as us, to explore and also enjoy quality family time together. If you enjoy music in the home, bring your laptop and plug it into the speaker system and enjoy your favorite tunes while cooking or hanging in the living room.

A Nice Getaway
Joe's house was comfortable with amazing views over the bay. The property is private and our dogs had a great time running around in the open space and venturing down by the water. It was a cold weekend so we weren't able to use the outdoor amenities much, but we recommend the rental specifically for these amenities in warmer months! The new HVAC systems worked great and kept us warm throughout our stay. The host does a great job of describing the property in the listing's description so be sure to read if you're picky when staying in a historic home. The interesting nuances of home additions create a quirky layout of many rooms on the first floor. We also encountered some bugs and ants during our stay, but nothing that would drive us away. Thanks for a great weekend retreat!

Wake to the sun rising over the water
This was a very quiet location on a rise above the river. Our dog had a great time exploring and playing in the water at the boathouse. We plan to return next year and bring our boat. The house was very clean and comfortable. The views are amazing!

FANTASTIC Vacation
The house and the amenities were top notch! The house is so charming and met all of our needs - we had 4 adults and 2 dogs and we were all very comfortable. The house came with everything you could possibly need (all paper products, cleaning supplies, extra towels - everything is there)! The kitchen was VERY well equipped with all of your cooking needs (plenty of pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc). The outside grounds were amazing and the views were awesome. Best of all, Joe the property manager, was very responsive and kind. We will definitely be back as we loved every minute we were there. It was easy to unwind, relax and enjoy time with the family and pups. A very memorable vacation!

Highly Recommend
The house is older with huge amounts of character. Lots of little details in the house and the decor make it a charming place to be. It was very clean and tidy. The beds are all comfortable, with plenty of linens and towels and the bathrooms are up to date, clean, and well equipped with shampoo, conditioner, etc. The kitchen appliances are all pretty new and clean and the kitchen itself is incredibly well equipped. Thought has been given to ensure this house has everything you need. The outside was perfect for our kids and dogs. Lots of space to run around, plenty of water-based activities to keep them busy, and the most spectacular views, really breathtaking. It's very peaceful and tucked away from the neighboring properties. We visited Montross. The food lion and vegetable stand were well stocked, the coffee shop was great and we had a fun evening at the brewery. We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful property and will definitely be booking again.

Absolutely Beautiful Property
Thank you so much for allowing us to have your place for Memorial Day weekend. We had a small event here that turned out absolutely AMAZING. The owner was quick to respond and so flexible with our plans. The house was very well stocked with linens, and kitchen supplies. The property is beyond breathtaking. Plenty of space and privacy over looking the water. The boat ramp just pass the house is an added bonus. The covered boat slip is perfect to park the boat. We had a fantastic time and thank you for sharing it with our friends and family!
