"Directions in binder where private Sandy Beach is located...( Path by railroad tiles ...just passed the crossing Oil all door hinges ..that way won't wake up others that are still sleeping...since no AC in bedrooms have to leave doors open to be comfortable in the bedrooms. Remote died and no AAA batteries, so went and bought some at DG store New grill ..that one worked but not hot only front part had flames...no way to cook food for 5 people. Door code only work to get in...so couldn't lock...

"This was the perfect place for a quick getaway to the Burlington Vermont area (Swanton). The cabin is nearly new and is very quaint. It has everything you need for your stay - a Keurig/coffee maker, a great selection of pots and pans, water in the frig, comfortable beds, a large TV, a beautiful deck and views from every window. I would highly recommend this cabin. Josie, the owner, was terrific with communication as well. "

"My husband, I and our two granddaughters, ages 7 and 15, had an absolutely wonderful 2 day stay. Very comfortable accommodations, spectacular view and location right on Lake Champlain. "First of all. We didn’t know the water wasnt potable so we had to grab our own. When we pulled up it’s a barn attached to a house and you have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the “apartment” it’s a barn so lots of black flies upstairs so we didn’t use the beds. "The cottage is incredibly large indoors with a stunning view of the lake from the family room. Everything you needed for meal prep was in the kitchen. Beds were comfy. The cottage sits in a rural area with excellent easy hiking trails nearby. We took a quick jaunt to Quebec (15 minutes away) for lunch and spent a great day at the Shelburne Museum in Burlington. Just a reminder:"beaches" in this part of the world are rock, not sand."

"Though the house was nice and pretty much what we expected, there was no information about staying there. We couldn't figure out how to get the tv to cable or to hook up the DVD player so we could use it. We didn't put the trash out to be collected because we didn't know when they were coming. We went to the beach that we think we were allowed at but we didn't know because there was no information about it."

"We found the cabin to be all that we needed for our trip to North Hero. Our purpose was to visit our niece and her family who live in the area with our newest family member who was born in July. The location of the cabin and all its amenities was within walking distance to their home. The lake was beautiful and the scenic vistas in every direction were lovely. Sunrise to Sunset. Thank you! "

"My partner and I (both in our early 60’s) stayed here in the Fall. Crisp air. Lake and mtn views. Fire pit. House warm on cold nights. We brought our own pillows and quilts. We cozied up on the recliner couch with our quilts and watched movies. We baked cookies and made all of our meals. The oven runs about 25 degrees too hot so keep that in mind for baking. We will be back for sure!! Owners are the best!! We called for help with an issue and he was there so fast. We stayed an extra night....
