"There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...

"This space was perfect for visiting Stowe in the fall! The property is fantastic, there is so much to do you'd never have to leave. "Beautiful location, rustic charm, off the beaten path. We chose the Christmas week, and we knew it would be cold, but it was bitter. Once we warmed the farmhouse up, we had a great time and we had 6-8 inches of snow on Christmas Eve which made the view out across the frozen lake just breathtaking. The farmhouse catered well for 5 guests (with 3 cars) and the kitchen was well equipped to handle Christmas dinner. "

"Communication was quick and easy! We even opted to stay an extra night. The only down side would be for someone who is looking for top of the line. Room is small and needs updating in the bathroom but we were just happy to have a nice place to sleep and shower. This was a trip to see our kids for Christmas and ski at Stowe. All in all for the price it was perfect. Our pup and grandpup loved the yard."
