"My husband I enjoyed our stay in this property. It was convenient to some of the best hiking trails and eateries, yet far enough away from the main highway traffic. "My family and I went down for a long weekend vacation. The lake house was beautiful , fully stocked, (even snacks to greet us) with a beautiful view of the lake from the back lanai. The master bedroom was laid out beautifully with a king bed and loveseat. The house had a very homey feel and was close to everything! "The home had everything we needed and far more, fully stocked kitchen, hot tub, a game room with a foosball table, pinball machine and a full size arcade game loaded with tons of options, plus a cache of board games. The interior is tall ceilings, a full wall of windows, beautiful pine walls and ceilings, comfortable furniture, large smart TV in each bedroom, living room, and game room. It is very private, has a creek right beside the house. We loved it and hope to return soon"

"The house was absolutely beautiful. Didn’t get to enjoy outdoor area. However the bumper pool took me back to my childhood. The road in was being paved so that was very bumpy. "I was a little nervous about this one due to some recent negative reviews, but we have stayed all over Boone and it's hard to find a perfect house up there. This one is very comfortable, and they must have worked on cleaning because it was mostly fine. Not perfect, but acceptable. Plenty of towels. Main bed is super comfy and the room is quiet and dark. Upstairs ceiling is low so duck but it's worth the tradeoff of having 3 bedrooms with 4 beds (hard to find in the area). TV works great with...

"Based on earlier reviews, I was worried about cleanliness, but everything was fine. House was very convenient to hawknest which is what we were going for, so that was great. We had slight issue getting in, but got it resolved fairly quickly."
