Lovely apartment

This cosy apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood in beautiful surroundings. It has a stunning view and a nice little garden. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need. Rachel is a lovely hostess, she kept in touch to make sure we had everything we needed to have a great time. Thanks for everything Rachel, we really enjoyed staying in Morillon!

Environnement magnifique, au calme. Logement très agréable, très cocooning. Très bien équipé pour les séjours niveau electro-ménager ( lave linges, lave vaisselles …)

Gîte idéalement situé dans la vallée du Giffre

Le gîte est très bien équipé, rien ne manque. La vue sur le Criou est magnifique depuis la terrasse dont l'exposition est idéale en été : ensoleillée le matin pour y prendre le petit-déjeuner et à l'ombre le reste de la journée pour ne pas souffrir de la chaleur. Il mérite qu'on y revienne.

Chalet très charmant

Je recommande Chez les Amis pour vos vacances sur Samoens et ses environs. Un chalet très bien situé et très agréable et surtout un accueil très agréable malgré nos péripéties (nous avons confondu le jour du depart!) qui font les bons souvenirs! Merci à Rachel et à sa gentillesse.

pied à terre parfait

Très chouette séjour à Morillon, la propriété très bien située, au calme avec une très belle vue sur la montagne, ne manque de rien et constitue un point de départ central pour des super randonnées dans la vallée du Giffre. Les propriétaires sont super cool et tous les Savoyards que nous avons rencontrés aussi, d'ailleurs!

Do Not Miss This Property!

Chez les Amis is the best skiing apartment we have visited so far. It's very spacious, with a large comfy living area; and 2 good sized bedrooms. The bathroom (with a bath for easing old skiers' bones!) and toilet are very up to date and spotlessly clean. But the apartment is much more than that... it is well equipped with everything you might need for a long stay, from a well stocked kitchen to lovely crockery and glasses, washing machine and dishwasher. Plenty of hot water too, and that's really important. The apartment was better than advertised in our view. The location is great if you are happy with a quiet hamlet, and don't mind driving to the lifts each day- we didn't, and found the location excellent. Rachel the owner is very responsive, and friendly in her responses too- nothing seemed too much trouble. The neighbours upstairs are permanent expats, and very friendly and full of good advice. We'd love to go again, and will very likely do so. Colin and Pauline South Wales

Brilliant stay

Wij verbleven met drie volwassenen voor vier dagen skivakantie in het appartement. Er is voldoende ruimte. Een goede en praktische keuken. Een overdekte parkeerplaats is zeker een plus in de winter. De communicatie verliep bijzonder vlot en de informatie is accuraat. Een absolute aanrader. Thank you, Rachel, for this amazing treasure.

Skiferie i Morillon /Grand Massif

Det var 5 gang vi besøgte Morillon, og vi havde igen en god ferie. I år havde vi valgt at bo hos CHEZ LES AMIS ~ CHALET og det bliver bestemt ikke sidste gang, det er en dejlig hytte, den havde alt det der skal til for at få en god ferie, og især brandovnen var rar at komme hjem til efter en god ski-dag. Tak til Rachel for din hjælpsomme måde at være på. Med de bedste hilsner familien Bang.

Lovely property

Located in a quiet hamlet, directions on the app made it easy to find and covered parking next to it is helpful. Short drive to get in to Samones for skiing etc. Kitchen nice and spacious and well equipped. Certainly on the list for another visit.

Très belle semaine de vacances

J'ai passé un très bon séjour dans ce chalet cosy avec ma femme et mes enfants. Il est très bien équipé, confortable et au calme. Je conseille cette location pour visiter la belle vallée du Giffre.

Fabulous - we will be back!

We had a brilliant time during our stay. The apartment itself is great. Bright and homely, it was equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing there in between trips and the beds were super comfy. We felt very at home. We also loved relaxing in the garden and barbecuing whilst enjoying the fabulous views of the nearby mountain ranges. The area itself is brilliant and the property is ideally positioned. We had easy access to restaurants, bakeries and shops. We went on a number of walks and enjoyed cycling as well as swimming in a nearby lake. There was so much to do we definitely plan on being back sometime soon.

Lovely stay in Morillon

We were really impressed with the service and communication from the owner from first booking and very impressed with the HomeAway app. The apartment was easy to find with the directions and a 15 min walk into the village. We had a couple of issues which the owner Rachel was quick to reply to text message. We loved our holiday. We would highly recommend Parc Du Merlet an hours drive and a steep walk but the views of Mount Blanc are stunning. We also hired bikes and our son used the new bike track at the lake in Morillon. It is definitely a holiday we will do again in a few years time again.

Summer haven in the mountains

We adored every minute of staying in this place - wonderful location, well equipped, cosy and clean home. Excellent communication with owners... couldn’t have asked for anything better. We’ve fallen in love with the area!

Morillon was fab

We had a wonderful time staying at Chez Amis. The weather was fantastic, and the chalet was perfect. It was cool, clean and very comfortable. There is so much to do in the area and we particularly loved the lake in the village to swim in as it has a paddling section and we had two toddlers with us. There was plenty of advice and information provided at Chez Amis and the neighbours were extremely helpful too! We walked to the bakery every morning, walked along the river, walked up to a viewing point, went to Lake Annecey for a day and swam lots! Never been to the Alps before so we will certainly be back again!!! Thank you so so much!

Another great stay!

This is the 3rd year in succession we have stayed at Chez Amis. Still lovely and peaceful with the sun coming around for late afternoon drinks outside when we return from the slopes, and/or cosy fire inside if the weather is cold (and generally at Spring we seem to get all weather!). No complaints at all..

Cozy Mountainside Getaway in a Magical Little Villiage

Everything was perfect! I can't wait to stay here again! It was charming and cozy, with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of fire wood to keep the fire crackling. Just outside the door is a magical mountain trail with foot bridges over little mossy streams and water falls. There is a classic French bakery just down the street, and a handy large supermarket just 10 minutes away. The hosts are friendly, communicative, and eager to help. Ace place!
