"Wonderful experience! This house was so charming and clean. There were so many personal touches that created a very warm and cozy environment. There were delicious treats waiting for us and the kitchen was stocked with anything you might need. Close to restaurants, coffee, park and the grocery store. Very Quiet. Would highly recommend this place. "

"We LOVE this place! It’s relaxing & comfotable…and there’s something magical about the deck…I can sit out there for hours. There are beautiful sunrise views, fishing on the dock is so handy, and people in town are so nice. I wish there was a ladder so we could swim here but the town beach is nice. "

"There were 8 of us in our group on a weekend motorcycle ride from Hartford SD. We started up to Fargo and then across into MN. Stopped in Hancock for supper at Buddies. Excellent supper and people!!! Had to wait out a storm so pulling into the VRBO and being able to park all 6 bikes into the garage was fantastic! Property was gorgeous and we will be planning another trip! The only complaint we had is that we were not staying longer than one night!! We will definitely come back! Thank you!!! "

"Such a perfect spot to escape July 4th weekend fireworks. We have a very nervous dog when it comes to all the fireworks in the city. This place is perfect! The serenity of watching the swans with their cygnets as you sip your morning coffee is amazing. The place is cozy but has all the basics you need."

"The Boar's Abode was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. There was plenty of room for our entire family. The kitchen worked great for cooking all of our meals and grilling outside was great. "House was great it was clean even better than pictures. Has more than 1 fridge which having more people is a plus. Yard was flat to lake so easy access to the lake. Chuck and Debbie were great at responding to anything we had questions about, and they were very flexible on dates that had changed.Definitely stay there again and will also tell friends and family about this so they can have the same great experience we did."
