We stayed for a week in July with our kids, ages 10, 16 & 19, and wish it would have lasted longer! I'll start with the outside. The house is on a beautiful piece of property, has two secluded coves on either side and sits about half way down a small hill. We enjoyed fishing, swimming and jumping off the double deck dock. The upper deck has a patio table with 4 chairs and 3 chaise lounges. The water has a greenish tint but is clean and clear. It has a clay, gravel bottom. The 24 foot pontoon we rented fit in the slip perfectly. Further up the hill there is a nice stone fire pit/patio area with 6 Adirondack chairs and a table. It was perfect for bonfires and Smores. The wrap around deck is on three sides and has a screened in section to enjoy some shade or the hot tub. The front porch has 4 rockers that are perfect for taking in the rays and views. The deck off the driveway is covered and we used this area during the few rain storms which blew threw. Plenty of parking next to the house but be aware the driveway is very steep. We've rented several mountain cabins in Tennessee so that comes with the territory but make sure your brakes and transmission are in good shape before the trip. The property is gorgeous and the pictures don't do the lake views justice.
Now onto the inside. It was extremely clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen had updated stainless steel appliances, plenty of pots, pans, cookware, utensils and dishware for anything you may want to cook. There is a crockpot, blender, toaster and coffee pot as well. Laundry room is off the kitchen with a stackable setup for smaller loads. Dining table has seating for about 6. The living area has a very comfortable Lovesac sectional which was perfect for relaxing after a long day of outdoor activities. The video game console and Big Game Hunter game were cool as well. The kids also enjoyed the foosball table. The bedrooms were cozy and the beds were all comfy with plenty of extra bedding. The flat screen TV's, Directv and WiFi all worked well. We made lasting memories and will definitely stay here again in the future!
A few tips/comments: Bring Wasp/Hornet spray, there were a few nests under the deck and dock. My daughter was stung twice! Bring firewood, the grill propane tank was empty when we arrived, retractable awning on front porch was not usable. No floats or water toys are supplied. You have to take your own trash 10 minutes away when you leave. Use H2O Watersports.
