"Loved the views, they were truly amazing. The couch and the master bed were comfortable. Loved that we had access to back-up supplies as needed, and the washer and dryer. We were grateful for that. Conveniently located between Hood River and the Dalles which was perfect for our needs. Overall, we really enjoyed this property. The views and comfort compensated for a few things that need to be addressed. Batteries need to be replaced in the remotes, we looked for back-ups and could not find any....

"We enjoyed our brief stay in this cabin. It was close to the rest of our itinerary and had great scenery. It was also really nice to be able to wake up and walk to coffee and breakfast just down the hill. Our TV, was not working, but the owner was quick to respond and refund a portion when the issue couldn't be resolved. We would have loved to use the fire pit, but it was raining when we were there. Next time! "

"My daughter and I stayed here while participated in the 2024 Columbia Gorge Marathon (her) and half (me). This was the perfect “home” to base from. Close to the event, but not right in the middle of it all. In fact the marathon course passed right by it. The location was very clean and stocked. The beds were also comfortable and well appreciated. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"We loved this property!! Recently traveled to Hood River for a family wedding and stayed with our entire family in this home. "12 family members stayed here for a wedding near Hood River. Plenty of beds & bathrooms to accommodate our group. House s a little outdated, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the ping pong & pool table in the garage. Didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub or the beautiful back yard, which would make for an incredible game of Bocce. View is absolutely stunning!"

"This home is even prettier in person! It also has all the bells and whistles! Warm floors, very clean, so much gathering space, fully stocked, beautiful colors. It was an amazing place for our four families with a variety of kid ages! (The train goes by several times each day, but it really is charming!!!) Take the fam to the cute little town of Stevenson! "This property was perfect for our party. We walked downtown for meals and the race. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our group of four but will accommodate more. The communication with host was great. Others have mentioned the temperature control issues. It must have been fixed because we had no issue. Doors and stairs were squeaky. "

"Our Family - Son, Daughter-in-Law, Grandson, Grandma, Grandpa came from Pennsylvania to visit our son and his fiance that live in Lyle. The house is less than a 5 minute walk from them and is absolutely awesome! There was plenty of room, it was spotless, had everything we needed, and the views are amazing! We would highly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit."
