"The property was located in a peaceful wooded area on the quiet side of Acadia. It was not far to the major attractions in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Comfortable, clean space. There really isn’t a kitchen - no stove or sink, but there is a microwave, coffee pot and you can wash dishes in bathroom sink. There is a fridge. It had everything we needed since we were not cooking - just reheating. Lots of information sent ahead by the owners. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Absolutely loved being on Somes Pond in this home. Everything was wonderful - clean, spacious, linens and kitchen fully stocked. This is a peaceful location yet close to everything you want to do in Acadia and Bar Harbor. We definitely will be returning. Large home with plenty of space and spectacular view. There is nothing I would change. It was perfection. "

"We absolutely loved this property. It was so tranquil and the view of the cove was beautiful at all hours. The issues that we encountered were with communication. The listing when we booked over a year prior to our trip said that the property was pet friendly, which has since changed. Thankfully, we were still allowed to bring our pup, but it took significant effort and time to get clarification which was quite stressful. Also during our stay there was an issue with a lock on an exterior door...

"Overall enjoyed our stay at Gardencourt cottage. Quiet, comfortable, and fairly close to Acadia park hiking and restaurants in area. Owner lives next store in attached cottage. Overall good place. Only suggestion would be to provide laundry soap so don’t have to purchase just for two loads. "
