"We are a family of six, four children and myself and husband. This Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely beautiful and I fell in love with how traditional it is. My children had plenty of fun out back in the huge garden. Most evenings we had a fire blazing in the living room. While we played board games and playing cards. "Our hosts Elspeth and Drew Vaughan were amazing. Very welcoming and informative. Some of the most pleasant and adorable hosts I’ve ever had. The area and hut were very clean and comfortable. They provided history and information about the area. Just wonderful. If I’m ever able to return to Ireland, I would definitely choose to stay here. "

"Wonderful experience staying at the property. One suggestion for the owners is to provide instructions on the use of appliances particularly those appliances that are unique to Europe e.g. the combination washer- dryer, hot water heater in the shower etc. we figured it out eventually but a how to booklet would have been helpful."

"Great property! Lovely setting and a wonderful place to stay with beautiful walks right there. We were glad we rented a car to get around. The quiet, peaceful setting is what we wanted though! Very short walk to the beautiful ocean shore below. "

"A fantastic place to stay. My elderly parents required an ensuite and this fitted the bill perfectly. Fresh flowers greeted us on the fining table. Great selection of leaflets showing you things to do in the west coast of Ireland. "Ballydevitt is a lovely cottage. As three adults, we had our own space and great space to spend time together after a day of exploring the area. They left thorough, yet easy to understand directions on how to use the house (hot water, heat etc.) We want to go back."

"El hotel está bien ubicado, nada más. El desayuno fue desastroso, las viandas vacías y solo dos personas para atender a muchas. La habitación que nos dieron era minúscula. El precio fue muy caro para lo que recibimos, el hotel es viaje y mal cuidado. Lo peor: te cobran la totalidad de la estancia 3 días antes!!!!!! Entiendo que si uno no se presenta cobren una noche pero la totalidad con tanta anticipación se me hace muy violento. Ah! Tiene solo 7 lugares de estacionamiento. Si alguien va a Sligo no se queden en el Riverside Hotel."
