"This is a charming cottage for getting away from it all. Secluded and rustic. Wildlife and wildflowers. We enjoy cooking for ourselves during vacations, so the kitchen is a plus. Nearby Montague has two grocery stores, and you can pick up local produce at roadside stands. For the best local food shopping, head to Charlottetown Farmers Market and fish shops. My husband and I have stayed in this cottage twice and plan to return again!"

"Spent the first week of September at the Moonlight Cottage. We traveled through PEI in the past but never stopped to visit. We really enjoyed our stay and everything was as advertised on Vrbo. The cottage itself is nice and cozy and its location makes it easy to explore many of the island's east side attractions within an hour's drive or so. "We were looking for a Motel close to the Wood Island Ferry. This looked like it fit the bill. Not so much. Anyway, we made the best of it. It's a cozy hide away if that's what you're looking for. Clean, isolated in the back country of PEI. Really quiet and dark at night, you can see stars! Located behind a fuel station and a convenience store. The local people are friendly."
