Plainfield Place Visit
Beautiful location, clean, relaxing, and it was near our family in the area. The entire house could easily accommodate 8 people if necessary. Great walking and friendly neighborhoods. We would stay there again when in the area.

Bridal Party
I got the house for my bridal party and I to get ready in the day of the wedding! Comfy beds, multiple bathrooms, and bright natural lighting was perfect for that! The neighborhood is so quaint and safe! This house is perfect for any stay! We were talking about how we would love to live here :)

Stains on the bookcases, sheets, and towels, dead bugs, everywhere
As you can see from previous reviews, the cleanliness and the bug issue is a problem. When we examined the beds, they literally had stains on the pillowcases and the sheets as well as long dark human hair. There was also hair on the floor of one of the bathrooms. We messaged the host and she immediately questioned us. Then when we sent her photos, she apologized and offered us a refund. Get a last minute hotel for the night as it was completely disgusting. The host gave us a cleaning person‘s phone number, we contacted her and she was extremely nice. She said she warned the host that there were stains on the sheets and pillowcases and told them they needed to be replaced. She mentioned that hair could have been from her. She was a very sweet lady. We contacted Vrbo about our refund and the host only gave us a partial refund claiming that we stayed there the first night even though we have it in writing she offered us a full refund. We were here for a family reunion And this completely disrupted our trip. We ended up doing a chargeback on our credit card and VRBO is doing an investigation We have full pictures, videos, to prove the property was not fit to be stayed at. We also took videos the next morning as we packed up our stuff that needed to be refrigerated. Highly recommend no one stay at this place.

Don't do it...absolute nightmare.
Upon arrival at this property my husband and I were absolutely disgusted with what we saw. Clearly someone had left the house in complete disarray, but no one had come by to clean or inspect the property before we were to rent. There was rotting garbage in the kitchen, old food in the refrigerator, dirty dishes and trash on the counters and in sink, dirty towels and laundry all over the house, beds completely pulled apart and just nasty, bathrooms were gross, and the house reeked of vinegar and cat (which my husband and I are both allergic to). To top it all off...when we reached out to the owner, explained that we have photos and video of the state of the home (it was about 6PM) and in its current state the property was not rentable especially considering we were traveling with children, they appeared to be understanding and gave instructions on how to request our refund only to find out that was the exact opposite of what we should have done. They assured us they would take care of working with customer service...they did NOT. And when I reached out to follow up with them the communication was absolutely unacceptable, stating "The calendar is closed after July already. We could not cancel any reservations that were already scheduled months ago." Of course we scheduled in advance, we were traveling 19 hours away from our home! Long story short...absolute nightmare of an experience. We are still fighting to receive our refund.

Not clean, bugs
Property was not prepared and was clearly not cleaned beforehand. There were crumbs on counters and floors in the kitchen, insect nests on floors in kitchen. ant remnants on floor when you walk in, half dollar gooey stuff on glass end table. Upstairs carpet appeared to be vacuumed; however we saw two large bugs (spiders?) run across the floor in the few mins we were there, pictures were taken. 3 to 4 feet weeds were out front, lawn was being mowed after we arrived but hadn't been mowed in some time. We did not get the code to enter the rental home until 3:30 pm on the day of our visit when our checkin time was 4:00 pm. Host couldnt be reached and ignored multiple messages from me, as well as the vrbo rep until shorty before checkin time. We did not stay in this home as a result of it not being cleaned, the bug issue etc. We requested a full refund, and the host and vrbo gave a full refund. Vrbo rep indicated codes are typically given at least 3 days prior to visit, which has been our experience in the past. The rep also indicated this checkin process was highly unusual.

Made my vacation plans easy.
Worked well to accommodate 6 grown men. Neighbor hood is nice and quiet. Location was close to a few grocery options making it easy to grab things to make breakfast. Also has good options for take out.

Family Christmas/New Years Celebration
We had a very nice time. The place and management we lovely. The place didn't look exactly like the pictures on the internet and the listing was a bit confusing but it equally as nice, very clean, well decorated and suoer comfortable! We will be back! Highly recommended!
