Kibako Nara isn't a bad place, but I wouldn't necessarily stay there again.
The wifi was a little wonky, the court yard smoking area left most of the house in a cigarette stench, there was only one (western style) toilet and one shower, kitchen lacked basic utensils and cutting knives (it's pretty hard eating oats and soy milk with chopsticks or chopping veggies with the one spoon I discovered at a later time) and there was no curtain in front of the dorm bed = zero privacy, I put my duvet up as a curtain as it was too hot to sleep with it anyway.
What they have going for them is the nice staff, free towels, amazing water pressure in shower and free bike rental. Decent aircondition. Place is also nice and clean.
