"We had a lovely 3 night stay. Our room was a wow to look at but not overly practical. The bathroom could do with a shelf to put our toiletries on. (instead we had to use the top of the loo) A light fitting above the large mirror was present but we couldn't see how it worked. If at all. A good powerful hairdryer, but the plug socket was too far away to sit at the dressing table. The room was clean, but attention to details were a little lacking. "Tony runs the place and was very welcoming. It is a lovely property in a wonderful setting with plenty of parking for guests. I had a really nice room with a great shower and very comfy bed. The place is very near to some good dining options for the evening. Cooked breakfast was ok but overall a very pleasant stay which I would use again for sure."

"As I find stairs difficult with luggage, and no lift, staff were helpful and changed my room from 1st floor to ground. Staff were pleasant but bar service could be improved. The waiter was covering the kitchen and bar. He walked past me twice, while I stood at the bar, but I still had to open the door to the kitchen, and call, I had to ask for ice and lemon, but didn't get the lemon, it didn't seem available. Just small things really but could be improved. "
