Secluded Cabin

Excellent location and secluded yet close to Nashville! Cabin is amazing just like the pictures. Hot tub was very clean and there’s a nice fire pit outside to enjoy at night.

Winter getaway

We decided to head out and enjoy a holiday weekend with friends in Brown County and stumbled on this quaint property on VRBO. It is up in the hills of Brown County, so take your time when traveling in the cold temps to get to the property. The cabin is perfectly situated and decorated, as the pictures showed. The hot tub was amazing on a single digit afternoon after being in the State Park and town. We really enjoyed relaxing and spending time with friends. Would definitely suggest this property for future travelers! Check-in process was very easy, as well as check out. Thank you for a great stay!

Great Weekend Stay

The property was absolutley lovely, better than the puctures let on. The cabin was plenty spacious and very well stocked with plenty of amenities. Loved the hot tub and the fire pit. The stairs were a bit tough, but otherwise no complaints.

Nice cozy cabin in a beautiful location

Stayed at the cabin with my adult daughter for a weekend getaway. The cabin is very cute, clean and well stocked. Not too far from Nashville. Beds were also super comfy!

Great cabin!

This is a lovely cabin in scenic Brown County. It’s quite remote from the main Nashville downtown, but easy to drive into Nashville or to go to the Stare Park. The cabin had everything we needed and it was very pleasant sitting out on the porch, as well as enjoying the hot tub.

Overall Goodtime

Place was nice. Secluded location but real close to Nashville. I couldn’t get the fire place insert to work but that was probably my fault. Also photo showed a dart board, shuffle board, and Foosball table but room only had foosball. Still we enjoyed our stay and I would use this cabin again.

This was a nice property. The cabin was very clean upon arrival and super cozy! Even had Christmas lights and decorations up when we arrived. The hot tub, grill and double porch was great. Perfect space for a weekend get away.

Moms getaway- wonderful!

We had an amazing time. This cabin was exactly what our group of moms needed for a weekend getaway. The hot tub was amazing, as was the porches and the swing. The cabin had absolutely everything we needed and we felt right at home. Check in was easy and finding the cabin wasn’t difficult at all. We also loved the dog “Carl” who visited us daily. He came the first night around 1am while we were in the hot tub and we thought he was a bear! He was so loving and friendly. We had a wonderful time and would most definitely love to come back!

Outstanding and just what we all needed!

We needed a place about halfway between Minnesota to meet my hubby’s mother and his sister. I had no idea what a treat we were in for, because this was a very last-minute trip. It wasn’t until the night before we left that my husband learned this area was “The Gaitlinburg of Indiana”…we love mountains and Tennessee so we’re even more excited. I loved the cabin! Well equipped kitchen. Everything is comfy and cozy. Hot Tub is amazing...steady hummingbird show on the deck I loved the location. I loved the seclusion, yet close to everything. I never wanted to leave the back deck.....and that swing! We loved being so close to the park and hiked around there (as much as we could with an 80 year old). That little town is everything....so cute. Toured Hard Truth Distillery....you must eat there and they are adding a brewery on. The wineries are also a must visit. Overall a Fabulous experience, but in my excitement I missed the little detail that there is not a potty on the main floor. This place has 3 stories ....wasn’t a problem for us, but posed an unexpected problem for everyone with my 80 year old mother in law with bad knees (and eyes) and my 60 year old sister in law (also not in the best health) who had so been looking forward to having that room in the basement, but had to give to his mom so she could be close to a bathroom at night; otherwise she would have happily made a nest on the couch. It def put a little damper on the week, but now we know what to look for next time. Also, there’s a very large, but super friendly white dog on the front deck from time to time. His name is Carl. He’s a big teddy bear with excellent people manners. I’m a big dog lover and so is my husband, but weren’t sure how he would behave to us walking up to the deck the first day we arrived or around cooked food, because he’s very old and appears hungry. We never had any problems with him......ever.
