Nice budget-friendly rental
We stayed in this property July 2020, so we knew this was more of a "budget" rental. We were ok not having all the bells and whistles, as we were looking for someplace safe and clean to eat dinner, play games and sleep -- we planned to be gone all day each day we were there.
We did have issues with the CLEAN portion of our requirements. Upon arrival, it was warm inside, because it was so hot outside. We decided to turn all the ceiling fans on to get some air movement, but were horrified to see how dirty they were. We had to get on chairs and clean every ceiling fan, as there was at least 1/2" of dust on all of them. That first impression left us weary about the cleanliness of everything else. :/
My next issue is the cookware provided. The pots and pans were in such bad shape that we didn't feel safe cooking with them. Those coatings that are coming off the cookware are definitely getting in the food cooked in them. I went to Dollar General and purchased a saute pan to use while we were there and we covered the sheet pan with foil when we cooked on it.
While I appreciate that they are trying to provide a budget-friendly rental, I think they need to make sure that the place is clean and provides safe items for use. Otherwise, our stay was what we expected.
