Perfect Relaxing Getaway
This was the perfect place for a family getaway which included my family of 5, my mother and father, and my brother. The house had plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable, and the wi-fi was very good. The beach access was amazing. There were never any crowds. There were even floats available to use in the water. When we left the beach, we would usually spend a few hours in the pool, which was large and seldom had many people. We rented a car and drove to the local grocery store to cook in most nights. The grocery store is somewhat expensive, but that was to be expected on the island. A few nights we walked across to the Pink Octopus for dinner and/or drinks. The food there was great, too. We hired Chef Everton to come cook for us one night, and that was a fun experience. He let us customize a menu based on his many suggested menus. He was friendly and enjoyable. We also went on a few charters from the Palm Cay marina. They were a little pricey, but were the highlight of the trips. If you go, ask for Captain James! The host was very responsive, helpful, and caring. He sent a great "guidebook" for the house with recommendations for food and activities. He checked into make sure we arrived okay, and would quickly respond to any questions we had. All in all, I would give this house a 10/10 and would definitely rebook for another vacation.

Family vacation
We enjoyed our stay at Palm Cay. It was wonderful to be right on the beach! The house was comfortable for my family. I was there with my husband, our 3 kids, and my mother-in-law. We picked this home because everyone got to have their own bed. The house had some games and puzzles, which we enjoyed. There were even some water and sand toys. I'm thinking they were just left by a previous guest, but maybe they are always there. Communication was good. We received help when needed. We did not choose to pay the resort visitor fee since we were right on the beach anyway. The free pool for this row of villas was marked "Adults only," but it was usually empty and no one ever asked my kids to leave, so we just used it anyway. We did eat at the Pink Octopus restaurant twice and visited the dockside cafe twice. We chartered a boat right at Palm Cay, so it was nice not to have to drive to get on a boat downtown Nassau. We also went to the playground several times and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. We visited the grocery store close by multiple times (by car).

Best family vaca!!
The house was beautiful along with views!! Great place to chill and hang wi th family and or friends! Only things is there is charge to be in the pool and use the activities there which is a minimum of 3 days you have to purchase which is $20 person per day then an extra charge to rent things!

Perfect stay
Lovely unit and just as described. The beach is beautiful. It was really quiet which was just what we wanted. It would be nice if there were other restaurants close by but we knew this when we booked. We just didn’t want to cook and did get tired of eating at the on site restaurant. The food at the restaurant was good. We didn’t rent a car but several of our neighbors did and they had no problems driving. We used Cheryl’s taxi service as recommended by the owner Mike and we highly recommend her company. Top notch. We felt totally safe and all of the locals that we met were so friendly. We would love to come back!

Incredible place to stay
Absolutely unbeatable location and views. Can’t beat opening your sliding back door and walking onto the beach and into the beautiful water. Snorkeling right there on the rocks, paddle board and kayak rentals next door ($45 for the whole day). Quiet side of the island, which is exactly what we wanted. Easy 30 min drive into Nassau or Paradise Island. We had a rental car and explored a bit but Palm Cay was our favorite place to hang out and absolutely can’t beat the views. On site food at the breakfast/coffee spot was nice and convenient and we ate at the Pink Octopus 3 or 4 times during our stay and everything we tried was delicious. Rooms were spacious and fit our combined families of 8 people perfectly (2 grandparents, 2 kids, 4 younger adults) - beds were on the firmer side FYI. Great communication from the host. Absolutely loved our stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough! Hope we can go back soon!

Palm Cay
Terrific location and owner was super helpful with advice on how to enjoy the island. Our backyard was the beach which we essentially had to ourselves. Next store was a bar and restaurant. Favorite day of the week, was a boat trip. They picked us up at the marina and Palm Cay and we toured, snorkeled, spear fished and ate and drank all day.

Mike and the property were wonderful! Our family thoroughly enjoyed waking each morning and walking out onto a beautiful beach. The accommodations were perfect for our family of five! The highlight of our trip was chartering a boat from the Palm Cay Marina to Rose Island. Thank you Mike for everything!

Beautiful place and location
Beautiful villa with unbelievable views of the water. Property is beach front so you only have to walk a few feet to the stunning water. The villa is very large with nice furniture and is very clean. The kitchen has all you need to cook simple dinners etc. The owner has a book with all the needed information for the villa, the property itself and the area. I suggest you use his suggestions. They were great. The location is close to everything and you can easily get anywhere around the island within 30 minutes or less. The property of Palm Cay has a great restaurant and bar. The staff were all friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The property is pristine with staff working on it everyday to keep it that way. Pools are nice as well. It was great meeting you Mike, we absolutely loved our stay and will be coming back!!

Family Vacation
Mike was so easy from booking the property to checkout. Any questions we had, he answered promptly. The Villa was great for our family of 5. Our children are 20 and 16 year old twins. We had plenty of room and the view was amazing. The location was great and close to the beach club. Weather canceled two boat trips, but we still had fun relaxing on the beach those days. I highly recommend and will definitely return. If you want to be relaxed and away from crowds, this is your spot!

Excellent beach getaway!
This is a wonderful beachfront property!! The house is surrounded by beautiful white sand and crystal blue water, and is equipped with everything you need for the perfect beach getaway! We enjoyed sipping coffee on the second floor balcony each morning and listening to the waves roll in each evening. Excellent snorkeling, as well! The resort-style restaurant was convenient with great service (order the pizza!) and the outdoor patio space was perfect for our family of four (with lots of space to spare). We ventured into Nassau a few times for activities and meals. We also utilized the host’s recommendation for a private guide for a day trip to Exuma…it was amazing!! We appreciated the responsiveness and communication from the house host, Mike. Five stars!

Great views!!
Amazing property with one of the best beaches on the island! Property is gorgeous and was very clean and furnished beautifully! My husband and I traveled with our adult children and their significant others. Close to grocery and plenty of great restaurants! Recommend Latitudes and The Poop Deck. Mike was a great host, and left a very detailed information package with everything from things to see and do and recommendations on restaurants and excursions. We had an amazing time! Our stay at Mike’s Palm Cay Villa was wonderful. It is a great location, away from it all, with beach and pools and a playground perfect for kids. Mike was super helpful and provided a great guide to the area. Highly recommend!
