"No space to move. Shower cubicle encrusted with grime, basin without hot water, no toilet paper. Nobody available to assist with anything. Guests are given a contact number, but get hung up on if they ring it. On the plus side, the bed was reasonably comfortable. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else."

"This location is a bit up the mountain (I'm sure it is fantastic for skiing but we visited in August). As such, it is away from the nutty tourist centre and the views are fantastic. The local bus service is super efficient and a brilliant way to get to the top if you do not want to hike the slope up. The flat itself is spacious and bright. It was amenable to self-catering, and had excellent laundry facilities."

"This apartment was excellent for our two week stay in late September. The wide living room/dining room windows look directly at the Eiger and a broad vista of alpine landscape. The large wide balcony is very inviting. We found this property spotlessly clean and extensively well appointed. Private covered parking is a real plus in Grindelwald. "The apartment was spacious and had everything needed for our stay. Kitchen was fully equipped. Coffee, paper towels, toiletries were not provided but we were able to get everything at Coop short walk away. Great location. "Fantastic location, great views of the Eiger. Very convenient location - close to Grindwald Grund railway station, and the main terminal for two gondola rides. The home itself was very nice, 3 bedrooms and lots of room for everyone. Nicely appointed kitchen and a sauna in the basement area.Lovely yard and back patio area offers a relaxed outdoor seating area. Loved our stay and would highly recommend."

"Eagles Nest had breath taking view of Grindelwald & mountains, apartment had all amenities we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Only problem we had was local bus timetable to the house was very difficult to work out, none of the drivers were very helpful and buses seemed to finish by 6.45pm. The 1 taxi driver wasn’t always available & charged a premium. It was quite a hike uphill from the village (especially if you’re a bit older)which made it difficult to eat out downtown. "

"The apartment really is fantastic and a great base for exploring Interlaken and beyond. The accommodation is stylish, spacious, extremely comfortable and clean. The portable AC fans worked well and, although the road is quite busy, it was very quiet at night. The balcony with mountain views was fab.
