"The cabin is very cute. Someone with children this is great! It is not secluded. It has a neighbor within 20 feet of you and the porches are facing each other. If you like privacy, it’s not the place. The place is just cute with plenty to do. But the house next door that close is a deal breaker for privacy."

"This property is UNBELIEVABLE - even better than the photos! The home itself is gorgeous and designed to complement the beautiful, natural surroundings - lovely stone and wood and so many wonderful design touches! "For posterity, I'm posting exactly what I sent the property managers prior to our stay. If you don't want to read the entire thing here's the highlights: - The railing was broken, and I ended up falling off the stairs walking to the dock from the house. - The coffee pot and garbage disposal were broken upon arrival. - There were no garbage bags or dishwasher pods. - The dock was disgusting and looked like it hadn't been cleaned since last season. "My wife and I were in town for family business. We have many family members in the region, and we wanted to stay far off the grid. I’m glad we did. No phone, no cable, no nothing. Absolutely fantastic! We plan to bring our children on the next trip in about 8 months. This place is #1 on the list for my wife and I. I have stayed in most states and countries, but this by far is the best stay in quite some time. We are coming back. If you want to make an offer to sell, let me know. "

"The listing was very accurate based on pictures and had a very true lake house feel. Only complaint is about the next-door neighbor's dog. The red brick house had a dog that came over to our rental property and barked aggressively and blocked my grandkids and daughter in law from walking up the path to the house from boat ramp. The owner eventually came out and got the dog. We only had the one-time problem."

"It was an average place. Nothing fancy. It is basically what you would think of as a cottage on a lake. Mismatched broken furniture. Dirty mattress on upstairs bunk bed. Didn’t see any bugs but I’m thinking I may have gotten head lice from the pillows. The skillets and stuff had to be scrubbed before we could use them. We did see some sort of water bug that’s to be expected on a lake. The internet is horrible I had to use my hotspot for a firestick on the tv. No one else’s phones would work on...

"Very nice and comfortable stay. Great breakfast options. Comfy bed. The only negatives were a strong cleaning solution odor in the hallway (it thankfully didn't make it into the room) and the room door was very heavy and a bit sticky to open. That posed a bit of a challenge when juggling two pups on leashes while trying to go in or out. Those minor negatives won’t prevent us from staying here again if in the area. "
