Excellent property for us, a retired couple. Priced competitively, clean and plenty of space with parking directly in front of the door. The Inn keeper was very friendly and solicitous of opportunities to help. Located on the "main street" of Nauvoo and next door to Casey's gas and convenience store, the only one in Nauvoo. Walking distance to downtown tourist area and of course the Nauvoo Temple less than 1/2 mile straight west. There are cosmetic opportunities that I would make if I owned the place, but nothing that degraded the experience. The only issues that might be an issue with some are short steps up to the toilet and shower, a water conserving shower head that I found a bit overly effective, no ice maker in the freezer compartment of the fridge and to be really picky, the TV was a bit small but we did not go there to watch TV and never turned it on. The towels were thick and fluffy and fridge well stocked. The innkeeper lives onsite and set the electronic door combination to our preference prior to our arrival. We just walked in. We just walked across a side street to Casey's for a bag of ice and other notions such as ice cream bars. We are likely to try to stay there on our next trip. BTW, we don't travel with pets, but they are also pet friendly. One bedroom and a couch in the living room that likely makes into a bed but we did not check it out.
