Cozy mountain retreat
This was a nice house for a family getaway (2 parents, 2 teens, 1 grandma. Everyone had their own space, but room to gather as well. The cozy fireplace was the highlight (note: you have to bring your own firewood). We spent Thanksgiving at the house and there were plenty of pots and pans and tableware (again note: the kitchen did not have any cooking basics - foil, oil, spices, cooking spray etc)

Lovely cabin and great host!
The cabin was very comfortable and was equipped with all we needed. The king bed was the most comfortable one I've encountered at a cabin. The host was responsive and extremely accommodating. We had to reschedule our stay because we got COVID, and the host happily worked with us on this. We greatly appreciate this!

Perfect, cozy get away!
We really enjoyed our time at the Wintergreen house! We all loved the open flow design of the den, dining area, and kitchen. Awesome couch set up with fireplace and TV. Comfortable beds. Great location and quiet privacy.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Property was nicely positioned with ample parking. Listing is as described and was lovely on the inside. Much bigger than anticipated. Located right on the Wintergreen Resort grounds with shopping, restaurants, grocery markets and activities to do with the whole family. We normally have stayed in the condos when we visit, but absolutely loved this experience of having the whole house to ourselves. We received all instructions for pre and post checkout. We will be adding this home to our list of visiting again!!!

Great time!!!!!
Eight of us stayed at the house. We went to the Wine and Garlic Festival in Amherst. Enjoyed the Festival and the house. There was plenty of room for us all and was very relaxing. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Women’s week
Overall a pleasant well equipped home with comfy furniture and the feel of a ski lodge. Very quiet and private. Found the pocket doors on downstairs bathroom area hard to open and close, and noisy - especially for the two octogenarians we had in our group. Loved the heater/fan in the shower area. I rated the “communications with property manager” as 5 stars because it was required to answer but actually given the good directions for check in, condition of the property and instructions provided, there was no need to communicate with the manager/owner.

The house was very comfortable and had wonderful porches off all bedrooms..a beautiful setting!.. the owner was very responsive to any questions and accommodating during our planning as we stayed the weekend for our daughters wedding at a local venue.

Exactly as it looked
My family and I were visiting Shenandoah National Park, Charlottesville and Richmond. This cabin was a great location and was exactly as pictured on the website. The kitchen was extremely user friendly and an easy area to work for two cooks. Loved the master bedroom separate from the kids area. Had a good time, would book again if in the area.

Peaceful weekend
Home sits in a quiet area not to far from the resort lodge. There is a shuttle service that pics up and drops off a short walk to the stop sign. The home was clean the only downfall o ly one TV which sits in the living room, we were a party of 9 and all different ages. Unfortunately not a lot of snow this weekend for snowboarding but they did what they could. Would definitely rent this house again.

Wintergreen Family Excursion
Karen and Matt were great hosts and very responsive to our needs. The house was clean with four sizable bedrooms and a big family room/dining room/kitchen area to accommodate a large family. Beautiful wooded lot, very quiet and ideally located to the Wintergreen lodge, fitness center and pool. We highly recommend Karen and Matt’s house for your next Wintergreen excursion.

Great, cozy place!
We had a good stay at this residence. The place was nice and clean, beds are generally comfortable (especially the master), and the location was great. We had one issue but the owner was very responsive and extremely quick to remedy the situation. Of all stays I’ve ever had, these owners were the most accommodating and responsive. Would book again.

Quiet.
Lovely location. Excellently stocked kitchen. Lots of individual privacy options (didn’t hear others snoring 😀). It was a very rainy weekend and some maintenance issues became obvious.. Thanks.

Great Space
Spent the Memorial Day weekend here and couldn't be happier. The space was perfect for our group of 6. the outdoor decks were nice and used often throughout. The upstairs vaulted ceiling was good but a little dim for our taste, they could stand to add to lighting. the owner was quick to respond and was very easy to deal with and rectified any problems we had in a timely matter.

Exactly as advertised!
The home was exactly what we were looking for. We just needed overnight housing for a couple of nights. We had a larger group staying nearby where we met for dinners. This home was clean and easily accessed. Perfect for 5-6 folks depending on couples versus individuals. Sounds simple but the WiFi and tv were easy to manage. No need to use our streaming accounts to simply watch basketball/sports. Our other house was a nightmare because of the cheap owner and very unfriendly host. We won’t be returning to that house for sure. (But that’s another story and a review to be written later). I would definitely recommend this property.
