Great stay
We had a wonderful stay. The host was really great to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. The unit was clean and well kept. We particularly enjoyed being just steps away from the community pool! The provided coffee, oatmeal, and granola bars were a great touch as well. Thank you for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay here so much! Communication with Greg was great, and the condo had everything we needed and more. We appreciated the extra touches like disposable coffee cups and granola bars, hot chocolate mixes and plenty of cream/sugar/sweeteners. The beds were very comfortable and there were lots of extra pillows, which is always a plus. The condo is in a great location and we loved the convenience of the first floor patio! Parking was super easy too. We fell in love with the area and will definitely be back! Thank you so much, Greg and Elizabeth! We loved the personal recommendations and background on your family included in the binder, too! Thanks for a wonderful last getaway before school starts!! (The Silvio Family from The Woodlands)

Pool outside your back door!
Hassle-free check in just input the door code, put you stuff down and jump in the pool located at your back patio. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for our family. Kitchen was small but had everything we needed to cook inside as well as on the grill in the pool area.We enjoyed both the pools on the property and walking down to the river. Gruene is only about 8 min. from the condo so we enjoyed walking and shopping aound there and we also loved floating and playing at Rio Vista park in San Marcos (only 20 min. away). We will definitely stay here agin.

Great Holiday Escape
We enjoyed our stay and were surprised by the amount of hot tubs/heat pool available during this cool season. The condo was spacious and included a lot of little amenities in the kitchen. New Braunfels offered more than enough activities and restaurants to keep us in the holiday spirit.

We visited New Braunfels the weekend before Labor Day 2023 and loved the location of this property. We were close to everything we wanted to do. Our kids had fun in the pools and property was well stocked and maintained. Would definitely recommend to others. Good luck with your trip!

Great place
We had a wonderful experience with the owners of this property. It’s located right beside a small pool, but there is also a larger pool a short walk away. We enjoyed both pools. The best thing was the location to the river. We didn’t have to worry about driving, just walked down the street, hopped in, and floated back to the property. The owner was extremely helpful in answering questions about the area. He even allowed us early check in because it was ready. The beds were very comfortable! Highly recommend staying here!

Did not want to leave!!
We spent the 4th of July week here. It was so relaxing, we didn't want to leave. Our favorite spot was the private patio poolside which was well furnished and very comfortable. The condo was clean and well stocked with kitchen items, extra blankets, and toiletries. Another plus was the parking spot right outside the door. During our time at the Waterwheel, it was a very family friendly environment. We found the location to be be so convenient for Gruene, restaurants, parks, and rivers. The owner, Greg, was very nice and check in and check out was super easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Staycation
This was the perfect location for our short family getaway. The condo was super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was nice being able to walk out from our porch to one of the pools. We also swam in the larger pool, enjoyed the river and played frisbee on the lawn. We appreciated the bonus snacks and coffee provided by our gracious hosts.

Nice get away
We had a great girls trip. Located right off the pool and great location for a 5-6 hr float back to the condo from the Rockin R river entrance. Greg and Elizabeth had a great book put together for local activities and local insights.
