"After driving from Wisconsin to Toms River New Jersey with the wife, teen kids and two dogs we got to the rental only to find other people living there. What a fiasco this was. The host did end up finding a replacement in Asbury Park that was nicer but the reason we booked in Toms River is because that's where my family was. We were never contacted by the host or VRBO that our rental was cancelled. The host was very apologetic and said she cancelled through VRBO but after much thought I have to...

"My high school girlfriends and I really enjoyed our stay at Howard’s place. We had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were super easy. He even let me check in a couple hours early when I couldn’t get an outlet for my computer in town. Princeton is only a 9 minute drive and it’s super direct. Easy to have our meals there, but the kitchen is well appointed. We were able to hang out at the kitchen table and the living room. Back yard is nice and large. So much fun!"

"The place was clean with pleasant decor and consisted of a living room, bathroom and bedroom (no kitchen facilities). It is on the top floor of one side of a sprawling duplex that is divided into apartments. "This was an excellent base from which to explore both the Princeton campus and the wider region. Very spacious so perfect for a larger family. Centrally located to shops and restaurants, etc, as well as train station. Quick commute to Manhattan and Philadelphia.
